Balagam OTT Streaming partner and release date details

Balagam, the film which was released as a small movie, has become a surprise hit. Comedian Venu Yeldandi has turned director with this film, which has been presented by ace producer Dil Raju. The film is still gathering good collections at the box office, and it has fixed its OTT deal according to the reports.

Balagam film’s rights have been brought by Amazon Prime Video, and it is being said that the film might be available for streaming from April 1st or 2nd week.

Meanwhile, the trade circles have reported that Balagam has collected the highest collections on its ninth day than any other day from the time it was released. Post pandemic, the collections for small films have not been great except for the first three days, but Balagam improved its numbers day by day with terrific word of mouth.

These days, it has become very difficult for small films to have a long run at the box office, and it is possible only for films that get unanimous blockbuster talk or if they are event films. So, a small-budget movie like Balagam having such fabulous run and receiving accolades is truly remarkable.

Priyadarshi and Kavya Kalyanram played the lead roles in this rural-based family drama, which has been directed by comedian-turned-director Venu Yeldandi. Harshith Reddy and Hanshitha Reddy produced Balagam under the banner of Dil Raju Productions. The movie is receiving appreciation from all corners, and recently Megastar Chiranjeevi congratulated the team for their honest attempt.

Both Ram Charan and NTR fans are fighting for the Global star tag, but both of them are not

Ever since RRR reached the western audience and was nominated for the international awards, both Mega and Nandamuri fandoms started fighting with each other saying only their Hero is global stars whereas other hero is not. But if we look into the reality, both the heroes Ram Charan and NTR are not deserved to be called as global stars as of now.

It is agreeable that they have got good fame with RRR, but their next movies are not international movies, and we will have to wait and watch to see whether those films will work Pan India wide or not.

The real global star is SS Rajamouli who got the total credit and recognition for RRR movie. And he is planning his next movie with Mahesh as an international movie in massive range and from now on, all his movies will be made as international movies only.

SS Rajamouli’s film RRR, featuring Ram Charan and NTR, turned up as one of the massive blockbusters in 2022. The global film community acknowledged the film after it received rave reviews from its audience and quickly becoming a worldwide sensation. The film’s song Naatu Naatu also bagged an award at The Golden Globe for Best Original Song.

Naatu Naatu song also received a nomination for the Best Original Song category in the Oscars. It is nominated along with songs by Rihanna and Lady Gaga. The Academy also announced that Naatu Naatu will be performed live on the Oscars stage. Ever since the announcement was made, fans have been very excited.

Hero Rana responds on negative comments about Rana Naidu web series

Victory Venkatesh and his nephew Rana Daggubati worked together for Rana Naidu, a web series that is now streaming on Netflix. Ever since it released the adult content in it became the talk of town with fans of Venkatesh and a section of family audience also criticized him for doing Rana Naidu. Hero Rana has responded to the criticism on the Web Series.

While some netizens could not accept the lewd scenes and filthy language in Rana Naidu, many others were okay with it, as such content in OTT is mostly acceptable for them. Rana quoted and agreed with the netizens who came supporting the series.

https://twitter.com/RanaDaggubati/status/1634786725649338368?t=P03jYZ009VT1nx-VyfZLZA&s=19

Coming to Rana Naidu, apart from the cuss words, sexual content, the web series is one of the regular outings in the OTT land. Crime elements mixed with family sentiment and political/ film world links, everything gives a feeling that we have already watched it. Venkatesh and Rana deliver decent performances, which makes the show somewhat alright. Also, the length of the Web Series is also a problem. It could have been completed in 5 episodes, but they dragged it out for 10 episodes.

Other departments, like background score and the production values, are up to the mark in this crime/ family drama along with the commendable performances of Venkatesh and Rana. Rana Naidu is directed by Karan Anshuman and Suparn Verma.

Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar 4 Days India Net Box-office Collections

Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor’s Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar saw a solid start at the box office with Rs 15 crore. While the film saw a considerable drop in its collection for a couple of days, it saw a massive jump in its number on the first weekend. On its first Saturday in theaters, TJMM collected around Rs 14 Crores net as per the trade circles.

The romantic comedy, directed by Luv Ranjan, also marked the acting debut of Boney Kapoor. The Film’s performance at the Box-office is decent, but not great. Now it all depends on how much to the film will collect on Sunday and Monday to get an idea on the full run.

On Day 4, which was the film’s first Saturday, TJMM saw a massive jump in its collection. According to the trade circles, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar collected Rs 14 crores net on March 11. Hence, the four-day total collection would be around 50 crores.

Meanwhile, Box Office India reported, “Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar is doing well on Saturday which is day four. It’s not a high number for the film but the fact that the film has comeback with very good growth after two low days is a good sign, and it gives the film chance to sustain post the extended weekend. The film has got pretty close to its first day all India number. The film will go ahead of its first day number where it was not a holiday and major cities which have bigger multiplexes. The Hindi belts will remain less but to expect them to come to Holi holiday levels on a Saturday is an ask, though this could happen on the Sunday. The shortfall from day one will be from mass centers.”

The film also marks the first collaboration of Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor. The film was released during the Holi 2023 weekend, March 8, 2023. The romantic comedy film, written and directed by Luv Ranjan, is produced by Luv Films and T-Series Films. Anubhav Singh Bassi, Dimple Kapadia and Boney Kapoor play pivotal supporting roles in the film.

The music of the film is composed by Pritam. Amitabh Bhattacharya wrote all lyrics. The film revolves around Mikki (Ranbir) and Tinni (Shraddha) who fall in love but because of a few incidents Tinni wants to get out of the relationship. How Mikki handles the situation forms the rest of the story.
