Balagam, the film which was released as a small movie, has become a surprise hit. Comedian Venu Yeldandi has turned director with this film, which has been presented by ace producer Dil Raju. The film is still gathering good collections at the box office, and it has fixed its OTT deal according to the reports.
Balagam film’s rights have been brought by Amazon Prime Video, and it is being said that the film might be available for streaming from April 1st or 2nd week.
Meanwhile, the trade circles have reported that Balagam has collected the highest collections on its ninth day than any other day from the time it was released. Post pandemic, the collections for small films have not been great except for the first three days, but Balagam improved its numbers day by day with terrific word of mouth.
These days, it has become very difficult for small films to have a long run at the box office, and it is possible only for films that get unanimous blockbuster talk or if they are event films. So, a small-budget movie like Balagam having such fabulous run and receiving accolades is truly remarkable.
Priyadarshi and Kavya Kalyanram played the lead roles in this rural-based family drama, which has been directed by comedian-turned-director Venu Yeldandi. The movie is receiving appreciation from all corners, and recently Megastar Chiranjeevi congratulated the team for their honest attempt.
