Mega Power Star Ram Charan arrived in India yesterday after attending the Oscar’s performance in Los Angeles recently. As soon as he arrived in India, he attended a conclave held in New Delhi, which was honored by many personalities from all sectors.

At the event, Charan made a sensational statement about RC16, his next project, which shocked fans and everyone. Charan said he is playing a path-breaking character in it, which is better than Rangasthalam. Chitti Babu’s character is still the favorite of his fans, and therefore this statement has left them in shock.

Charan has announced that the shooting of the project will begin in September 2023. Additionally, Charan added that he is confident that the Western audience will love RC16. Let’s see how the movie turns out.

The announcement of SSMB28 title and first look at the Ugadi festival

Usually, the first look posters for Mahesh Babu’s movies come out on his father Krishna’s birthday (May 31) or his birthday (August 8). However, this tendency will be broken by his next movie.

Krishna, the legendary actor, passed away recently. Therefore, no first look posters or any promotional content will be revealed on his birthday. The film is going to be released in August and they cannot release the first look of the film so late. So, the makers of SSMB28 don’t want to keep superstar Mahesh fans waiting for too long.

The title is said to be locked by Trivikram and the plan is to reveal the title and first look on Ugadi festival. The official update about this is expected to be made on 19th or 20th March.

The Shooting of SSMB28 is currently underway at a specially constructed set near Shankarapally village in Vikarabad district. The shoot includes Mahesh Babu, Pooja Hegde, and Sreelela.

SSMB28 is the third film in the combination of Mahesh Babu Trivikram. The idea of Trivikram and Mahesh reuniting after 12 years itself has made fans and audience to have huge expectations on this project. Pooja Hegde and Sree Leela will appear as the female leads in this project directed by Trivikram.

Thaman S will compose music for this prestigious project and for him, also it will be the third outing with Trivikram after Aravinda Sametha, Ala Vaikunthapuramuloo. Naveen Nooli will handle the editing duties, while Haarika and Haasinie Creations are backing the project.

The 95th Oscars Awards were held recently in a glittering ceremony where the best in the business of cinema from around the world were awarded. From India, Elephant Whisperers and Naatu Naatu won the biggest honour. The RRR song was also performed on the stage with Kaala Bhairava and Rahul Sipligunj performing live at the Dolby Theatre, Los Angeles.

While Naatu Naatu won the big honour, many fans felt that it would have been even better if Ram Charan and NTR performed the song together on stage. As per initial reports, the reason for the duo not performing live was the lack of time for rehearsals owing to their other prior commitment. The duo didn’t feel comfortable with performing due to various reasons and hence the most anticipated performance was called off.

However, in a recent interview with India Today, Charan revealed something different. ‘I told in LA interview that I’m ready to get that call…I truly don’t know what happened..Let’s not talk about,’ said the Mega Power Star.

Looks like Charan felt bad about the happenings as he really wants to perform Naatu Naatu. He has indirectly indicated now that while he was ready, Tara wasn’t. Whatever the reasons, film lovers all over the world surely missed out on the biggest performance on the biggest stage.

The trailer of Dasara had a heavy dose of violence. However, the censor board has given a U/A certificate for the film. Apart from a few beeps and minor cuts, the censor board felt Dasara is a perfect watch for all kinds of audiences, including families and children. The film’s runtime is 2 hours and 36 minutes long. This is a decent runtime for a commercial movie because it is not very length, nor it is too short. It is also being said that the censor board members gave positive reviews for the film.

Directed by Srikanth Odela, Dasara’s music has been composed by Santhosh Narayanan and Sathyan Sooryan ISC handled cinematography. Navin Nooli is the editor and Avinash Kolla is the production designer of the film, and Vijay Chaganti is the executive producer. Sudhakar Cherukuri is the producer.

The film stars Nani, Keerthy Suresh, Dheekshith Shetty, Samuthirakani, Zarina Wahab, Sai Kumar and Rajsekhar Aningi. The film is set to be released in theaters on March 30 in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam. The film is set against the backdrop of Singareni coal mines near Ramagundam’s Godavarikhani of Telangana.

One title for all languages, RC 15 title is confirmed

కథ: 2000 సంవత్సరం నేపథ్యంలో సాగే కథలో వైజాగ్ లో సంజయ్ (నాగశౌర్య), అనుపమ (మాళవిక నాయర్) కాలేజ్ లో ప్రెండ్స్ అవుతారు. అను సంజయ్ కంటే ఏడాది సీనియర్ అయినా కూడా వాళ్ళిద్దరి మధ్య బంధం బలపడుతుంది. ఈ జంట బంధంలో అనుకోని విధంగా ఘర్షణలు వస్తాయి, లండన్ కు వెళ్ళిన తర్వాత సమయం వీళ్లిద్దరి మధ్య దూరాన్ని పెంచుతుంది. సంజయ్ భావోద్వేగపరంగా తనకు తోడు నిలిచే భాగస్వామి కాకపోవడంతో అను నిరాశ చెందుతుంది. సంజయ్ గైర్హాజరీ, ఆ దంపతుల ప్రేమ ఎలా పరివర్తన చెందుతుంది అనే విషయాల పై మిగిలిన కథనం దృష్టి పెడుతుంది.

నటీనటులు: నాగశౌర్య, మాళవిక నాయర్ తెర పై అద్భుతంగా కనిపిస్తారు. వారి కెమిస్ట్రీ కూడా ప్రశంసనీయమని చెప్పాలి. వీరిద్దరూ తమ పాత్రలకు చక్కగా సరిపోయారు మరియు 10 సంవత్సరాల రిలేషన్ షిప్ లో ఉన్న తేడాను పరివర్తనను ప్రదర్శిస్తూ చాలా సులభంగా నటించారు. అయితే ప్రధాన తారాగణం మినహా ఏ పాత్ర కూడా కన్విన్సింగ్ గా లేకపోవడం, పేలవంగా రాసుకోవడం సినిమా ప్రభావం సరిగా ఉండకుండా పోయింది. మాళవిక నాయర్ ఈ రొమాంటిక్ డ్రామాలో హైలైట్ గా నిలవడంతో పాటు ఎమోషనల్ సీన్స్ లో అద్భుతంగా నటించి కెరీర్ బెస్ట్ పెర్ఫామెన్స్ ఇచ్చారు. మొత్తంగా ప్రధాన పాత్రధారులు భుజాన వేసుకున్న ఈ సినిమా పై మిగతా తారాగణం మాత్రం పెద్దగా ప్రభావం చూపలేదు.

విశ్లేషణ: సినిమాల్లో సహజత్వం ఉండటం, నిజమైన మానవ భావోద్వేగాలను ప్రదర్శించడం దర్శకుడు శ్రీనివాస్ అవసరాలకు ఉన్న అతిపెద్ద బలాల్లో ఒకటి. కానీ నిజమైన భావోద్వేగాలను, పాత్ర లోతును చూపించే క్రమంలో ప్రేక్షకులను అలరించే సినిమా ప్యాకింగ్, స్క్రీన్ ప్లేను ఆయనలోని రచయిత విస్మరించారు. సినిమాలో హాస్య సన్నివేశాలు కొన్ని నవ్వులు తెచ్చిపెట్టవచ్చు కానీ అది అంత వరకే. ఇంకా బాగా రాసుకున్న పాత్రలతో బిగి సడలని కథనం ఉండి ఉంటే ఈ రొమాంటిక్ డ్రామాకు మరింత బలం చేకూరేది.

తీర్పు: ఫలానా అబ్బాయి ఫలానా అమ్మాయి సినిమా దంపతుల మధ్య కాలక్రమేణా చెడిపోయిన సంబంధాన్ని చూపించే చాలా ప్రాథమిక అంశంతో తెరకెక్కింది. ఇలాంటి సినిమాల్లో పాత్రలను, వారి అభద్రతలను, లోపాలను చక్కగా ఎస్టాబ్లిష్ చేయడం ముఖ్యం. అలా చేయడంలో ఈ సినిమా పరాజయం పాలయ్యింది. అందరికీ ఏకగ్రీవంగా నచ్చని ప్రధాన అంశంతో తెరకెక్కిన కారణంగా ఈ సినిమా సరళంగా ఉన్నా అనుకున్న గమ్యాన్ని చేరుకోలేకపోయింది.

Upendra’s Kabzaa FDFS talk – Review – Ratings and Box Office expectations

Kabzaa is an another Pan India film from the Kannada Film Industry which was released today. The teaser trailer, everything looked very much similar to the KGF series. The audience talk from the morning shows is poor and especially the Telugu version’s dubbing has been disastrous.

The story of the film is routine, and the audience is saying there is no emotional content and the screenplay is also not engaging. Only the background score in a few scenes is the plus point for the movie. Kabzaa makers disappointed everyone by making a low-grade film and then publicizing it as a Pan India film is more astonishing.

Because of the big budget, good trailer and promotions, the film may get decent openings on the first day, but with negative talk, the film will struggle to continue or pick the momentum and will end up as a failure at the box office.

Directed by R Chandru, the film stars Kannada Star Hero Upendra in the major role, Shriya Saran, Murali Sharma in other crucial roles. It also features Kiccha Sudeep, Shiva Raj Kumar in extended cameo roles.

Kabzaa tells us the story of Arkeshwara (Upendra), an Indian Air Force Officer, who hails from a freedom fighter family. He is head over heels for Madhumathi (Shriya Saran), an affluent girl, and both plan to marry. On the other hand, there are countless dreadful gangsters and politicians who are craving power in Amarapura. In a complete turnaround of events, Arkeshwara enters the crime world and eventually becomes a king. How did that change Arkeshwara’s life is the rest of the story.

Actor/ director Srinivas Avasarala is back with his directorial project Phalana Abbayi Phalana Ammayi. The romantic drama is his third outing with Naga Shaurya after the hugely successful Oohalu Gusagusalade and Jyo Atchutananda. The film is giving off pretty fresh feels and Avasarala, who is known for his mature dramas has claimed that this film will definitely appeal to the family audience as well as youngsters. Let’s check out what he has put in the store.

Story: Set in 2000, Sanjay (Naga Shaurya) and Anupama (Malavika Nair) are college friends in Vizag. Anu is a year senior to Sanjay and the two become close friends and romance blossoms. Time brings friction in the couple’s relationship as the story now movies to London with Sanjay being an emotionally unavailable partner much to Anu’s disappointment. The remainder of the narrative focuses on his absence and how the couple’s romance undergoes a transformation.

Performances:  Naga Shaurya and Malvika Nair look great together on screen and their chemistry is commendable. The duo fit into their roles perfectly and performed with great ease showcasing the 10-year relationship transformation. However, apart from the lead cast, none of the characters are convincing and are poorly written which breaks the movie’s flow. Malavika Nair in particular is the highlight of this romantic drama and is great in emotional scenes and has given her career-best performance. The rest of the cast members don’t have much impact on the movie that’s majorly shouldered by the lead.


Analysis: Being realistic and showcasing true human emotions is one of the biggest strengths of Srinivas Avasarala. But in the process of showcasing true emotions and character depth, the writers ignored the movie’s pacing and screenplay which tires the audience. The attempted humour in the movie might bring out a few chuckles but that’s about it. A crispier screenplay with better-written characters would have given this romantic drama more credibility.

Verdict: 

Phalana Abbayi Phalana Ammayi has a pretty basic premise of a couple’s strained relationship over time. In such situations, it is important to establish characters, their insecurities, and flaws neatly which the film fails at. The simplicity of the film goes out for a toss due to the central conflict which might not appeal to many.
