Samantha Health:

Actress Samantha undergoes Hyperbaric Therapy

Earlier in October 2022, actress Samantha disclosed having a health complication called as myositis, which refers to any condition causing inflammation in the muscles. While the talented actress has gone back to work, she still seems to be taking treatment for her condition. The beautiful actress apparently is taking hyperbaric oxygen therapy as it helps reduce inflammation, and cures infections and repairs damaged tissues.

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy consists of breathing pure oxygen into an environment under pressure. The air pressure will be increased by 2–3 times the normal air pressure. Under these conditions, your lungs can collect much more oxygen than you could by breathing pure oxygen at a normal air pressure. The additional oxygen helps one to combat bacteria. It also causes the release of substances known as growth factors and stem cells that promote healing.

Samantha opened up about handling her health issues a few months ago and said, “There are some good days and some bad days. Some days getting up from bed is very difficult. But, some days, I want to fight. Slowly, the days I want to fight are getting more and more than I want to give up.”

“Also I want to clarify one thing, I’m not dying anytime soon. I saw a lot of articles saying life-threatening and I just want to clarify that I’m not dying anytime soon. Yes, it is autoimmune, it is taking time, and it’s draining and tiring, but I’ve always been a fighter & I’m going to fight,” she added.

Samantha was last seen in ‘Shaakuntalam’, the mythological love drama, and is currently filming for ‘Kushi’ opposite Vijay Devarakonda. In Tamil, her last hit was with Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara in ‘Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal’ last year, which was directed by Vignesh Shivan.
