Karthikeya2 Budget Details

Nikhil Siddharth who made his debut with Happy Days as lead actor is now coming up with interesting projects. His last film Arjun Suravaram has got a good response and performed well at the box-office.

Nikhil is currently working for Karthikeya2 which is a sequel of Karthikeya that released in 2014. The team of Karthikeya is planning to release the film in various languages. Accounting to our close sources this film is being made with a whopping budget of ₹25Crs which is highest ever for Nikhil film. This film will cast all major actors of part 1 but the concept will be completely new. This film will be having huge VFX shots and graphics work of this film has already started. The team is currently busy on pre-production work and film will go on sets post lockdown.

Karthikeya2 is being directed by Chandoo Mondati who earlier directed Karthikeya and Kirrak Party with Nikhil. The music for this film will be scored by Kaala Bhairava. This film is being produced by Viswa Prasad and Abhishek Agarwal under People Media Factory along with Abhishek Agarwal Arts.

After two successful films like Simha and Legend, Balakrishna and Boyapati Srinu once again paired for high voltage mass entertainer #NBK106. This file is grandly launched on 6th December 2019 under Dwaraka Creations Banner produced by Miryala Ravinder Reddy.

The shoot of this film has already started and scheduled to release it for Dusshera 2020. The team is planning to announce the title along with first look poster on 10th of June on the occasion of Balayya’s 60th Birthday. According to our sources, a powerful title ‘Monarch’ was registered in the Film Chamber by the movie makers of #NBK106. The title Monarch defines an emperor or king.

Balakrishna will be playing the role of Aghora in this film which was confirmed by the director himself. There were many names for lead actresses like Anushka, Catherine, Namitha, Nayantara, Payal Rajput, Shriya in social media but no official word was made by the team. SS Thaman is to set tunes for this crazy project and it will be the second time for Thaman to compose music for Balaya film.

Director Prasanth Varma who has a unique style in film making announced his third film today on the eve of his birthday. He made his directional debut with “AWE” which was produced by Natural Star Nani. Though the film couldn’t fair well at Box-office, the film got a good response from critics and industry people.

Last year he came up with “Kalki” that stars Dr.Rajashekar and Aadha Sharma in lead roles, this film was made in a different genre. This time Prasanth Varma is making a film which is based on Coronavirus backdrop. This film was started before the Corona virus started transmitting in India. The shoot of the film has been paused due to lockdown and the director says he will be resuming the shoot in the second week of June. He also added that he has made slight changes in the script according to the current situation. If everything goes well this film will hit screens in the last week of August. This untitled film is being produced by Prasanth Varma and his cousin brothers.

Laxmmi Bomb OTT Deal

Due to Lockdown many film industries are looking for direct Digital release. Already a few couple of producers have closed the deal with OTT Platforms. Not only a medium budget or small budget movies but star hero movies are also looking for OTT Release.

Amitabh Bachchan starrer GulaboSitabo team has already announced its digital premiere on Amazon Prime Video. Now yet another Bollywood film Laxmmi Bomb which is an official remake of Kanchana is also gearing up for OTT release. According to buzz around BTown Disney+ Hotstar has offered a whopping price of 120Crs to acquire the digital rights of this film. If this is true, this would be the highest ever digital price for an Indian film. Laxmmi Bomb was initially scheduled to release on May 22nd but due to lockdown that didn’t happen. Though the film shoot has been wrapped up, there is still a bit of post-production work to be done.

Laxmmi Bomb stars Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani in the lead roles. This film is directed by Raghava Lawrence and being produced by Cape of Good Films in association with Tushar Entertainment House.

Young Tiger NTR who is continuing success from Temper to Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava has an intresting line up ahead. As we know that NTR is currently working for the biggest multistarrer RRR which is being directed by SS Rajamouli which will hit screens in 2021.

After RRR, as announced NTR will team up with Trivikram which will be a pan India film. According to this script, NTR will be romancing with 2 heroines and the team has started searching for lead actress. As it is a pan India film Trivikram wants to rope one Bollywood actress and another actress from Tollywood. Going by industry buzz Trivikram is looking to cast Samantha Ruth Prabhu as one of the female lead. Earlier NTR and Samantha paired up for Brindhavanam, Ramayya Vasthavayya, Rabhasa and Janatha Garage. Still, as there is much required time for this film to go on sets let’s wait for official confirmation. #NTR30 will be jointly produced by Chinna Babu and Kalyan Ram under Haarika and Haasine Creations along with NTR Arts.

But Natural Star Nani and his team of Tuck Jagadish are happy and ready to resume the shoot. Tuck Jagadish has started its shoot 3 months back and almost all the outdoor shooting part has been completed. As they are left out with only indoor shooting part, makers are planning to complete the entire shoot within short span. This film is actually planned for June release but due to delay in the shoot, this film will hit screens later this year. This film is being directed by Shiva Nirvana who earlier directed Ninu Kori and Majili. Tuck Jagadish co-stars Rithu Varma and Aishwarya Rajesh as lead actress. While SS Thaman is producing this film Shine Screen productions is producing it.

Actually, this film is scheduled to release on April 2nd but due to lockdown, the release of this film was on hold. Recently there was news that this film will be having direct OTT release by skipping theatrical release. But one of the Producers wasn’t interested to release it directly on OTT. After the final copy is ready the film unit has submitted for Censor and it is certified with “U/A”. The censor board members appreciated the team of Nishabdam for making a good film. There were many surprising elements in the film and screenplay of this film will make the audience thrilled. The board members also advised the team to go for Theatrical release first and thereby the OTT platform next.

This film was directed by Hemanth Madhukar which also cast Anjali, Shalini Pandey, Madhavan, Srinivas Avasarala in crucial roles. This film is produced under KFC Entertainments along with People Media Factory.
