Movie making has evolved beyond just story, screenplay, and high technical values. Nowadays factors like marketing, promotions, hero’s looks, and other external factors are playing an equal role in a movie’s box office performance. While maintaining a correct balance between the actual movie and these external factors is vital, some directors are focussing more on the latter and totally ignoring the content of the film.

Few directors are torturing heroes on shooting sets in the name of physical transformation and other activities. And after the release, the audience is getting tortured in theatres with bad and outdated content. This whole process is an ordeal for producers as well as they now have to wait for a long period for the movie to get completed

It is really surprising to see how the directors are forcing heroes to do intense workouts in the name of physical transformations for a few scenes which do not have any positive impact on the movie’s story. It’s about time the directors realize that the hero’s physique is an extremely minor part of the movie and it’s the story and presentation that mattes.

It is very well known to everyone that the most awaited movie of Prabhas – Om Raut’s Adipurush is just 2 weeks away from its worldwide release. The expectations around the movie are sky-high be it in the Prabhas fans, neutral audience or even the trade circles. The unit of Adipurush has managed to get the required craze for the film with the recent promotions. However, the movie is releasing on limited screens in overseas markets due to the competition from Hollywood movies.

The film is having massive demand, especially for the 3D version, but due to multiple Hollywood films are releasing around the same time, and they have already blocked the big screens such as IMAX and XD screens. Now due to this, the film is expected to be released in only on limited screens. When the makers of Adipurush had announced the release date, the moviegoers predicted that the film will face problems regarding the theaters, and it would be released on limited screens. Let’s hope that the content of the film gets the best possible talk and long run at the box office.

The film’s pre-release event planned in Tirupati on 6th June, and it will be a grand event. The makers are in plans to release the 2nd trailer and this is the time the trailer is expected to have full of action. Until now, the team has not released the content of the action part except for a few shots. If the second trailer of Adipurush gets a good response, then it would take the expectations to another level.

Adipurush is directed by Om Raut and produced on a massive scale by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar and Rajesh Nair of Retrophiles. Prabhas will be seen as Lord Ram, while Kriti Sanon appears as Janaki. Sunny Singh plays the role of Lakshman and Deva Dutta Nage plays Lord Hanuman. Bollywood Actor Saif Ali Khan will be seen as Raavan.

Suriya’s Pan India film Kanguva postponed its release date

Suriya’s upcoming Pan India film Kanguva, which had created terrific buzz in the trade circles and industry with its excellent title reveal video, is reportedly postponed its release date. The release video featured exceptional CGI and gripping visuals, making it one of the finest title reveals in recent times. Siva, who is known for his commercial mass entertainers, had surprised everybody with his ability to give out this kind of outcome in such a short time.

The film was planned for January 2024 release on Republic Day weekend. However, now it is said that the movie has been postponed to summer as the movie’s shooting schedules are taking more time than planned as big sets and big number of cast are involved. The film is expected to be released in April or May 2024 now.

Kanguav’s digital rights have been acquired by Prime Video for a whopping 80 Crores, which is also excluding the Hindi language. The producer of the movie KE Gnanavel Raja had officially revealed that the South Indian Digital Rights of Kanguva have been sold for a whopping amount of RS 80 Crores. It is the biggest deal for a Tamil movie on Prime. Overall, it will be the 2nd biggest deal in Tamil movies after Vijay’s Leo, which was bought by Netflix.

Director Siva had revealed in an interview that Suriya’s Kanguva is set in an entirely new world and will give the audience an experience like never before. The movie will be loaded with heavy VFX work and if the release video was any indication, then we are in for a treat. The movie’s 2D and 3D versions will simultaneously release in all languages. Kanguva is a pan-India project, and Siva and the team are putting all of their efforts to make it big.

At least after the release of the movie they should clearly know they have not made an epic film with a great content. They have just just made an okay film so it’s common to receive mixed opinions from the audience and some trolls on social media are also common as even for some hit films there will be trolls based on the film’s content or if audience does not like some points in the film they will troll or give negative reviews.

However the team of Mem Famous is unable to accept this and trying to criticise the audience those who give negative response by saying that they should behave positive and giving messages, quotes like dont lead life with negativity. This behaviour of Mem Famous team is becoming a big troll material on social media.

The Netizens are saying that the team of Mem Famous could have handled the mixed response in a better way by saying they are thankful to the people who have liked and those who did not liked the movie, they should have responded like they will try to impress them with the next film. Normally, summer is considered as the best phase for theaters and exhibitors, but this year’s summer has gone worse for the exhibitors as only 2–3 films have clicked in summer and there are no biggies as no star hero has released any movie. Every weekend multiple small films are releasing, but most of the films fail even to get the minimum number of audience to the theaters.

Even this weekend also the new releases opened with poor numbers. Director Teja and Daggubati Abhiram’s Ahimsa, Ganesh Bellamkonda’s Nenu Student Sir and Masooda fame Thiruveer’s Pareshan have released on this weekend. Sadly, no. film was able to attract the audience.

Ahimsa marks the debut of Abhiram Daggubati. P Kiran has produced the movie on Anandi Art Creations banner. RP Patnaik scored the music of this film. Besides Abhiram, the film has Geethika, Rajat Bedi, Sadha, Ravi Kale, Kamal Kamaraju, Manoj Tiger, Kalpalatha, Devi Prasad and others in crucial roles. Nenu Student Sir Movie stars Ganesh Bellamkonda, and it is directed by Rakesh Uppalapati. Pareshan Movie stars Thiruveer, written and directed by Rupak Ronaldson.

The exhibitors are now stuck in a slump as new releases failed to bring audience to the theaters. They are facing very hard times with continuous bad results of movies. Only Balagam, Dasara and Virupaksha movies have become successful in this season. Weekly, multiple small movies are releasing, but none have tasted success at the box office.
