SJ Suryah is turning out to be the most wanted artist for the Villain roles in South Indian Cinema. His performance as a bad cop in Simbu – Venkat Prabhu’s Maanaadu has made his stardom raise to the next level. SJ Suryah plays the main antagonist in Indian 2/ Bharateeyudu 2 alongside Kamal Haasan. Other than Kamal Haasan, the film also has Kajal Aggarwal, Siddharth, and Priya Bhavani Shankar in pivotal roles. Anirudh Ravichander, who composed the brilliant album for Kamal Haasan’s Vikram is composing music for Indian 2 too.

After the completion of Balakrishna and Anil Ravipudi project, the veteran actor will move on to his next- NBK 109. The film will be directed by Bobby and will be produced by Naga Vamsi. An official announcement on the same will be made on June 10th which happens to be Balakrishna’s birthday. Interestingly, this project was first planned with Superstar Rajinikanth but that Tamil star didn’t approve of the story.

After the massive success of Waltair Veerayya, Bobby prepared a mass script for Rajinikanth and several meetings also happened for the same. However, the film didn’t materialize as Rajinikanth didn’t find the story exciting enough. Now, the same script is said to be okayed by Balakrishna. Rajinikanth is currently busy with Nelson Dileepkumar’s Jailer and he will be next seen in Aishwarya Rajinikanth’s Laal Salaam followed by TG Gnanvel’s untitled project.

Interestingly, Bobby directed Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Waltair Veerayya which trounced over Balayya’s Veera Simha Reddy in the Sankranti race earlier this year. With Bobby directing Balayya now, he has now achieved the rare distinction of directing Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna in successive films.

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Bhola Shankar is picking up steam in trade circles and film lovers with the release of ‘Bhola Mania’. The song received mostly positive reactions and the film promises to be high on entertainment quotient. The film also stars Tamannah and Keerthy Suresh in main roles.

Chiranjeevi’s Bhola Shankar has kicked off its theatrical trade and the movie is doing good business. In Andhra [6 Territories] the ratio is in the range of 40Cr – 42Cr and from Nizam the movie is expected to do business in the range of 25Cr -27Cr. Ceeded business is expected to be in the range of 15Cr. Overall, Telugu states business is around 82Cr and worldwide the film is expected to do 90Cr business.

Keerthy Suresh will be seen as Chiranjeevi’s sister in the film while Tamannaah will play the leading lady opposite Chiranjeevi. Sushanth will appear in a major role in the film. Anil Sunkara’s AK Entertainment is producing Bhola Shankar together with Creative Commercials.

Bhola Shankar is a remake of Ajith’s 2015 action entertainer Vedalam. Megastar and Meher Ramesh have changed the original story to suit Telugu nativity.

Ahead of the grand pre-release event of Adipurush, Prabhas visited Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple at Tirupati. He had the Suprabhata Seva at 2.30 am on June 6 and sought blessings for the success of what can be termed his most ambitious project so far.

The pre-release event of the film is scheduled to be held later today at Sri Venkateswara University Stadium in Tirupati. Massive-scale arrangements are being made for the event and just like the movie’s level, the pre-release event will also be conducted on a huge scale with massive cutouts and technological attractions being planned for the event.

Adipurush is slated to release on 16th June and the recently released trailer has breathed life into the so-far low buzz the movie generated after the release of its teaser last year. Recently, it was reported that the Chay has been roped in to play the lead role in the Tamil and Telugu bilingual remake of Kartik Aaryan’s blockbuster Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. Many netizens were felt it was not a good choice to remake a popular Bollywood movie in this OTT era.

But, now the Naga Chaitanya’s team has denied these reports as it circulated the message on social media platform that read, “FACT CHECK: The news which is being circulated regarding Chay doing the remake of #BhoolBhulaiyaa2 is completely false. — Team Naga Chaitanya”. It was rumoured that Chay will play Kartik’s role, while Jyotika will play Tabu’s role in the remake.

Producer KE Gnanavel Raja recently revealed that he has bought the rights of Bhool Bhulaiyaa in a media interaction. “I have purchased the South remake rights of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. However, we will spin the story a little bit as per the taste of the South Indian audiences, especially the Tamil/Telugu audiences. Most of the story remains unchanged.” he said.

When he was asked whether the news of Naga Chaitanya and Jyotika being finalized for the film was true, the producer had told the media, “Who told you this? Nothing has been finalized. We are just waiting to get clear dates. We are in the process of finalizing the right cast. Right now, I can only confirm this. We will begin shooting in the month of July/August.”

It is very well known to everyone that the most awaited movie of Prabhas – Om Raut’s Adipurush is just about 10 days away from its worldwide release. The expectations around the movie are sky-high be it in the Prabhas fans, neutral audience or even the trade circles. So, it is natural that the theatrical rights of the film getting massive offers. Adipurush has done a whopping pre-release business of 175 Crores in Telugu States. The film has to collect massive numbers at the box office to achieve the break even mark.

The KGF Series is releasing in Japan, Will it do wonders like RRR

Yash and Prashanth Neel’s blockbuster KGF franchise (KGF: Chapter 1 and KGF: Chapter 2) is all set to be released in Japan this July by Twin Movies, which also distributed SS Rajamouli’s globally acclaimed “RRR” last year and scored a massive blockbuster. KGF 1 and KGF 2 both films will be released in Japan on 14th July 2023. Now this news has started a debate in the netizens regarding the collections.

There is no need for the special mention of the box office wonders created by RRR in Japan. The film was released without any expectations, but it came a big blockbuster and, with the help of Japan collection’s only the film had crossed KGF 2’s worldwide collections. Now we need to see how the KGF series will perform at the Japan box office.

The Japanese version poster and trailer of KGF series with Japanese language and subtitles have been released, confirming the 14th July release. It is a proud milestone for the Indian Cinema that our films can now crack the new overseas market.
