Adipurush writer’s double game on the film and changes his words after release

Prabhas’s Adipurush, has come under heavy criticism since it was released in theaters this Friday. The film has created box office records on its first day, but there is still a large section of the audience that has criticized the scenes, character sketches and some dialogues which seemed to be inappropriate for the genre. What is baffling the audience is the double game of the writer of the film, Manoj Muntashir who has changed his words after the release.

“Certain dialogues, which I am reading on the news and on Twitter, I can say they could have been careful,” Moti Sagar, who worked on the 1987 show Ramayan with his father Ramanand Sagar and brother Prem Sagar, told the media when he was asked to say about the dialogues of Adipurush.

“He (the writer) must have thought of making the film more attractive for the common man, who speaks such language,” the director-producer said.

Manoj Muntashir, the writer of the film, stated that the team of Adipurush was clear from the start that they have made Ramayan, but they got heavily inspired by the epic. He further said that they have not made Sampoorn Ramayan and they just took a part of Yuddha Kaand (war sequence) from it.

But the truth is, before the release, Manoj Muntashir had said that they are not trying to modernize Ramayan and they will not deviate from it, and the film will consist of only those incidents which the audience has read/heard and watched from the all versions of Ramayan. But after the film being released and trolls started, he suddenly changed his words and told Adipurush is not Ramayan and it was just an inspirational film.

Though the team of Adipurush has now declared that they will change the dialogues which were pointed out by the audience, everyone has understood the double game of them. Before release, they tried to use Lord Ram and his story as a publicity tool and after release they are just attempting to escape by saying they got inspired by Ramayan.

It is very well known to everyone that Pan India star Prabhas played the role of Lord Ram in the film “Adipurush” which was released recently and getting phenomenal collections worldwide. However, many audiences were not satisfied with the dialogues in some scenes, and they criticized that how could he team could put such normal dialogues for mythological characters?

Many people have are suggested changes regarding some dialogues in the film. The team of Adipurush recently announced that they are considering their suggestions and will change the dialogues in those particular scenes.

Respecting the instructions of the audience, some dialogues in the film Adipurush will be changed. It is very well known to everyone that the much awaited and most heavily publicized Adipurush film has disappointed everyone. Most of the audience were not at all happy with the content and many felt an Epic like Ramayan should not be made like this, and they strongly believe that the team of Adipurush was incapable to understanding the essence of Ramayan and putting the same on screen. Perhaps the audience’s feel that only SS Rajamouli can do justice to the Hindu mythologies.

What’s more interesting is not only the Telugu audience but all the Indian audience are in a feeling that only Rajamouli can do the justice to Hindu mythologies. He understands perfectly the emotion, and he will be able to make films based on Hindu mythologies.

If we take Baahubali 2 as an example, the design of the Amarendra Baahubali ‘s character had a strong effect on the audience. Though Rajamouli did not tell, nor he took an inspiration from the Epic Ramayan, we can see the similarities between Lord Ram and Amarendra Baahubali, as he has seen as a righteous person who obliges to his mother’s orders to go away from the king’s palace despite not making any mistake.

Rajamouli never takes the audience for granted, and he takes every minute thing of his movie serious and makes no mistake. That’s why the audience are very confident that he can do justice not only to Ramayan or Mahabharat but any Hindu mythology.

It is very well known to everyone that making Mahabharat is Rajamouli’s dream project. He recently stated that it may take a year for him to just understand and get an idea of all the available versions of Mahabharat in the country. Needless to say that whenever he launches his dream project of Mahabharat into a10 parts (or more) feature film, it would be an unprecedented project in the history of Indian Cinema as many big stars from all film industries will be present in the movie.

It is very well known to everyone that Gautham Vasudev Menon’s Dhruva Natchathiram with Chiyaan Vikram has been delayed for a few years. The movie’s first promo was revealed more than six years ago. The film also features an ensemble cast, including Simran, Aishwarya Rajesh, Ritu Varma and Parthiban among others. The director of the film, Gautham Vasudev Menon elaborated on the film and the issues faced during its filming.

Gautham said that the movie had created many expectations, and he will be hoping that this film will work with the audience. He stated Dhruva Natchathiram will be released in a month. He also mentioned that he worked with the wrong people, but now he took over this film as producer.

Since last 4–5 months, Gautham has been working day and night for the Dhruva Natchathiram ‘s release, and he felt like he should not have released the trailer early because it became dated now. Gautham Menon’s next directorial will begin from August.

There was no news about Dhruva Natchathiram for quite some time. A few months ago, it was heard that the team kicked off shooting its pending portions and that there are possibilities for it to hit screens in July.

On releasing the project after a few years of making, he said, “It is a tricky situation when a film you made hits screens after a few years’ hiatus. I analyzed what the problem was; it was nothing, but the fact that I was working with the wrong set of people.”

Known for making heartful love stories as well as action thrillers, Gautham Vasudev Menon was supposed to do a sequel to his previous film Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu, but as of now nothing has been confirmed about this project.

It is very well known to everyone that Prabhas’s much awaited mythological drama Adipurush was released in theaters on this Friday. The film opened to mixed response from the audience and critics as well. Also, the film was trolled for some inappropriate dialogues and unnecessary changes to the history. Despite getting surrounded by all these negative things, Adipurush showed a strong hold on its day 2 in the Telugu and Hindi markets and created records.

In Telugu states the film has collected close to 16 Crores share on day 2, which is a Non RRR record on day 2 by, and it also crossed Baahubali 2’s day 2 record. We can say that Nizam is the best performing territory for Adipurush as the movie collected 7.8 Crores share on day 2 and created a non RRR record.

In Hindi, the movie collected in the range of 32 Crores net which is more than 90% of the first days’ collections. Overall, the film has collected in the range of 75 Crores gross on day 2 worldwide.

Adipurush is produced on a massive scale by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar and Rajesh Nair of Retrophiles. People Media Factory brought the movie to the Telugu audience.
