The superstar met the students who achieved the top three positions in the 10th and 12th general examinations across all 234 constituencies in Tamil Nadu. The meeting took place yesterday (June 17) in Chennai. The fans were enthralled by the presence of Vijay, his powerful speech and various memorable moments during the interaction of the actor with the students.
From accommodation, breakfast and lunch, to snacks, Vijay and his made all the best arrangements for the 5000 students and their parents, who arrived for the meeting. But it is said that the actor spent almost Rs 2 crores on the event because he wanted everyone to be treated properly. Reportedly, Vijay sponsored 1000 per every student.
Vijay made an astonishing entrance into the event in his new look, and he won the hearts of everyone with an inspiring speech. Vijay asked his fans to do whatever they wanted and talked about the importance of education in life. He also asked voters of the next generation to avoid receiving money for votes, which sparked the rumors of the actor’s political entry.
Vijay had a special interaction with a physically disabled boy at the event and was given a present by him. The boy became emotional by sharing time with his favorite actor, and the boy’s emotional moments made Vijay turn into tears.
