Finally Hero Nikhil officially confirms the Spy release date

Since few days there has been a set of strong rumors circulating in the industry circles that some differences had happened between Spy, the Pan Indian film’s producers, and it’s Hero Nikhil regarding the release date. Finally, the issues seemed to be sorted out as this evening Nikhil himself confirmed the release date now, so there is no chance of postponement of the film, and it will be released as per the plans.

The recently released trailer of Spy, the most ambitious project in Nikhil’s career, had managed to impress all. It’s quite evident from the trailer that the movie is being shot on a massive scale with good production and technical values. However, there was said to be a small issue with the movie’s release date between Nikhil and the producer.

Spy’s producers wanted to release the film as planned on 29th June. But, Nikhil insisted on taking some more time to finish post-production works and later publicity works. Which is why he asked the producers to wait for one more month. The producers were not too keen on this delay as all the business deals were locked as per June 29th release date. If the release date gets postponed now, then all business deals will be affected, which was the main worrying point for the makers.

Iswarya Menon and Sanya Thakur play the female leads in this action thriller directed by Garry BH. Aryan Rajesh and Abhinav Gomatam will also be seen in key roles in Spy. K Rajashekhar Reddy has also produced and written the script for the movie. The action-packed spy thriller will be released simultaneously in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.

Prabhas’s Adipurush crosses 250 Crores mark – 1st weekend box office estimates

It is very well known to everyone that Prabhas’s much awaited mythological drama Adipurush was released in theaters on this Friday. The film opened to mixed response from the audience and critics as well. Moreover, the film was trolled for some inappropriate dialogues and unnecessary changes to the history. Despite getting surrounded by all these negative things, Adipurush showed a stronghold at the box office in the Telugu and Hindi markets and created records.

Prabhas’s Adipurush performed very well on the 1st weekend in the Telugu and Hindi markets. In Hindi, the film is expected to collect in the range of 100 Crores net in its opening weekend in India. As far the Telugu states are concerned, the opening weekend gross will be more than 90 Crores on the 1St weekend, which is a remarkable number.

When it comes to the overseas trade circles are expecting it to be more than 5M$ for the first weekend. Overall, the film has been expected to collect around 275 Crores Gross worldwide. The film crossed 200 Crores on the second day and will cross the 250 Crores gross mark on day 3.

Adipurush is produced on a massive scale by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar and Rajesh Nair of Retrophiles. People Media Factory brought the movie to the Telugu audience.

Kathmandu bans the release of Hindi films from Adipurush

Adipurush is facing an enormous backlash in India, despite it creating a record in the box office collections. Now Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal, has banned the release of Indian films because of Adipurush. The total ban on Indian films in Kathmandu happened when the mayor of the capital city raised questions about Sita’s representation in the film Adipurush.

Taboola Balen Shah previously questioned Sita’s portrayal in the Adipurush. Balen Shah objected to the fact that Sita was referred to as the “daughter of India” while in reality, she was the “daughter of Nepal”. The makers of Adipurush also reportedly modified the film to resolve the grievances of Nepalese politicians.

“If the movie is allowed to be telecast in other areas and abroad by prohibiting the performance of anti-national films within the Kathmandu Metropolitan area, then it is prohibited to perform any Indian movie in Kathmandu metropolitan from tomorrow until objectionable portions are removed from the movie,” Balen Shah said in a Facebook post.

Previously, the censor board of Nepal certified Adipurush after the controversial dialogue on Sita was removed from the T-series, but the release of the film was stalled in Nepal.

This is not the only problem Adipurush is facing with the audiences in India as they are criticizing the film for its poor visual effects, offending dialogues, and below-average character sketches of the actors. Political parties like Congress and other opposition groups are also attacking the BJP and other right-wing groups over their silence on the film’s mistakes.

Adipurush writer’s double game on the film and changes his words after release

Prabhas’s Adipurush, has come under heavy criticism since it was released in theaters this Friday. The film has created box office records on its first day, but there is still a large section of the audience that has criticized the scenes, character sketches and some dialogues which seemed to be inappropriate for the genre. What is baffling the audience is the double game of the writer of the film, Manoj Muntashir who has changed his words after the release.

“Certain dialogues, which I am reading on the news and on Twitter, I can say they could have been careful,” Moti Sagar, who worked on the 1987 show Ramayan with his father Ramanand Sagar and brother Prem Sagar, told the media when he was asked to say about the dialogues of Adipurush.

“He (the writer) must have thought of making the film more attractive for the common man, who speaks such language,” the director-producer said.

Manoj Muntashir, the writer of the film, stated that the team of Adipurush was clear from the start that they have made Ramayan, but they got heavily inspired by the epic. He further said that they have not made Sampoorn Ramayan and they just took a part of Yuddha Kaand (war sequence) from it.

But the truth is, before the release, Manoj Muntashir had said that they are not trying to modernize Ramayan and they will not deviate from it, and the film will consist of only those incidents which the audience has read/heard and watched from the all versions of Ramayan. But after the film being released and trolls started, he suddenly changed his words and told Adipurush is not Ramayan and it was just an inspirational film.

Though the team of Adipurush has now declared that they will change the dialogues which were pointed out by the audience, everyone has understood the double game of them. Before release, they tried to use Lord Ram and his story as a publicity tool and after release they are just attempting to escape by saying they got inspired by Ramayan.
