Megastar Chiranjeevi had one of the biggest disasters in Telugu cinema with Bhola Shankar, which was a Telugu remake of Vedaalam. Directed by Meher Ramesh the film was not even able to collect a decent number of collections at the box office on the second day. The film is now set to be streamed on Netflix starting from September 15th.

Barbie, the latest Hollywood film, became a stunning blockbuster at the box office despite competition from Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer. Starting on September 12th, Book My Show will be streaming it on a pay per view basis.

Rama Banam, the movie featuring Gopichand was a major disappointment at the box office. The audience rejected the film in theaters as they felt it was an outdated action entertainer. The financial issues for Tamil Hero Vishal’s upcoming film, Mark Antony, have been sorted out, and the film is all set for a grand release in both Tamil and Telugu languages. Lyca productions had filed a case on Vishal to stop the release of the film, Mark Antony and now all issues are said to have sorted, and the film will have a grand solo release in Tamil and Telugu as well as said above. It is a blockbuster date as it consists of Vinayaka Chaviti holiday advantage. Both Chandramukhi 2 and Skanda postponed to September 28 which gives Mark Antony a. solo blockbuster date.

It was reported that Vishal will have to appear in court in person on September 12 to explain the noncompliance of a court order and file an affidavit disclosing all his assets. Lyca Productions filed a plea to recover Rs 21.29 crore payable by Vishal, which is the issue. But everything has been settled now. Vishal took to his official Twitter Account to inform that the film will be released on September 15th as per the plans.

The film stars Vishal, SJ Suryah, Suneel, Selvaraghavan, Ritu Varma, Abhinaya, Kingsley, YG Mahendran, and others. Music for Mark Antony is by GV Prakash Kumar, cinematography by Abinandhan Ramanujam and editing by Vijay Velukutty. Adhik Ravichandran wrote and directed the film, and S Vinod Kumar produced it.

Overseas also, Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty held strong with decent numbers. Overall the film has collected around Rs1.4Cr on Monday taking the total share to 14.65Cr+ worldwide for 5 days.

The film had an excellent weekend with solid occupancies and a good hold in most of the territories. Over the weekend, Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty collected around Rs 10.5 Cr gross. in overseas markets with more than $1M in the USA. The total overseas share is around 5Cr.

In Nizam, the film has collected around Rs 6.8Cr gross, and the share is Rs 3.75Cr. The rest of India’s gross is approx around Rs 2.5Cr with Rs 1CR share. Andhra Pradesh accounted for Rs 3.5Cr and gross will be in the range of Rs 6.25Cr.

The film has managed to create some intrigue thanks to its fresh look and unique casting. With Anushka appearing on screen after 3 years, everyone was curious how this film would come out. After Salaar’s postponement, small movies like Kiran Abbavaram’s Rules Ranjann, Sithara Entertainments’ production, Mad movie were announced to be released on September 28th.

Now rules Ranjann officially postponed to 6th October because on the September 28th, there are crazier films like Skanda , Chandramukhi 2 and Srikanth Addala’s Peddha Kapu 1 is getting released on 29th September. So it would not be the best time to release small movies in such a heavy competition.
