After having a sensational and phenomenal first weekend at the box office, Shah Rukh Khan’s latest action entertainer Jawan saw a significant drop in Monday collections, which is a bit shocking. The film, which was released on September 7th, opens with unanimous blockbuster reviews and posted record-breaking numbers on weekend.

Especially on Sunday Jawan’s Hindi version collected an outstanding number of 70Cr+ net and on Monday it went down to 27Cr which means less than 40% of the Sunday hold. The trade circles of Bollywood felt that the cricket match between India and Pakistan had affected the numbers, but still, it can be said as a huge drop and a shocker considering the blockbuster reviews and word of mouth for the film.

The dub versions also seen a big drop on Monday, and the southern states numbers on Monday are not at all encouraging. With today’s numbers, we can get a clarity on the movie’s upcoming run.
