Jawan surpasses $100 million mark worldwide

Jawan, the action entertainer starring Shah Rukh Khan, is refusing to slow down at the box office and is continuing to break records one after another. While the film is having a superb second weekend and grossed over 700 Crores in India, Jawan also surpasses $100 million mark worldwide.

With Sunday’s collections, Jawan crosses $100M Globally. The early estimates of 11 day’s gross number of the film will be close to 865Cr. As said above, Jawan had an excellent second weekend overall, and now it will definitely join the elite 1000Cr club.

Jawan is Shah Rukh Khan’s second release of the year after Pathaan. The cast includes Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Priyamani, and Sanya Malhotra. Deepika Padukone, Sanjay Dutt also appeared in extended cameos in the film. Directed by Atlee, the film’s music has been scored by Anirudh Ravichander.

Shah Rukh played the roles of a Jailer and an Intelligence Officer in the film, and he uses a small army of female convicts to act as a vigilante in the film. He sets out to retribution the Indian public for the years of corruption perpetrated by businessmen and politicians.

Hansika’s web series My3 is now streaming on OTT

Actress Hansika has come up with the latest Web Series titled My3. Also having Shanthnu Bhagyaraj, and Mugen Rao in the lead roles, the series was released on Disney+ Hot star on September 15th. Directed by filmmaker M Rajesh, the series is now getting good applause from the viewers.

The series is made as a robotic love story, and it has Hansika as a humanoid robot named Mythri/MY3. Shanthnu played the role of a scientist, and Mugen is a young man, perhaps playing Hansika’s love interest.

MY3 also stars Janani and Ashna Zaveri, Alongside in the cast are Subbu Panchu, Thangadurai, Nisha Ganesh, Anish Kuruvilla, Lakshminarayan, Ramar, Bharath Kalyan, Abhishek, Shakthi, and VJ Parvathy.

The web series has cinematography by Karthik Muthukumar, music by Ganesan S, and editing by Ashish Joseph. The series is currently streaming on Disney+ Hot star in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali and Marathi languages.

Shah Rukh Khan’s latest action entertainer, Jawan, directed by Atlee has been a huge hit worldwide and has received a lot of love and appreciation from the fans. The film has already reached Rs 400 crore in India and has collected over Rs 700 crore worldwide. SRK fans have watched the movie by celebrating in a big way in theaters, but they are eagerly anticipating its release on OTT platforms as well. In a recent interview, Atlee mentioned that he intends to do something unique and wants to surprise the audience pleasantly by giving a slightly different version from the theatrical one.

During a recent interview, the director of ‘Jawan’ provided some intriguing details. Besides discussing the current success of his Hindi project, he also revealed that he is working on something exciting for the OTT release of ‘Jawan’.

The director responded when asked if there was a possibility of a longer and unwatched version of the film upon the OTT release. “We have already balanced the emotions and length appropriately for the theatrical version. We are looking into a different rhythm for the OTT release. The reason I postponed my holiday is that we are working on something. I want to surprise all of you, so let’s see what we come up with.”

When asked about the Sequel of Jawan, Atlee did not confirm it but said there are some ideas. “The endings of most of my films are similar, and I haven’t planned any sequels. However, I am open to the idea. I will definitely take a strong concept into consideration if it comes to me. For now, I have left it open-ended. In the future, I may come up with a sequel, but I will definitely come up with something different.”

Mark Antony – Career biggest weekend for Vishal

Vishal’s latest film, Mark Antony, was released on Friday and opened to mostly positive reviews and great applause for Vishal and SJ Suryah’s performance in particular. The film opened with huge numbers in Tamil and had a decent opening in Telugu states. Now it has registered the career biggest weekend for Vishal.

Mark Antony did extremely well at the box office in its first weekend. Especially in the Tamil language, the film exceeded all the expectations. In this process, Nagarjuna asked a few questions to the contestants about the incidents in the house. As far as the task was concerned, Shivaji was majorly selected by all the contestants and many good things were said about him. It showed how big an impact he had on the house as a contestant.

After that, Nagarjuna gave another funny task where the contestants were divided into two teams again and the task was guessing a movie name by seeing the costume on the TV screen. For the second week in a row, a popular actress has been evicted from Bigg Boss Telugu 7’s house. Shakeela was in danger during the second week’s play, and she ended up leaving the show on Sunday. 

Shakeela is the second “Bigg Boss Telugu 7” contestant to be evicted. She entered the show with the intention of winning the title, but she departed fourteen days later. Shakeela was expected to be one of the strongest contestants in this season, but unfortunately, she was evicted this week during the elimination.

Small Malayalam film RDX makes it big at the box office and achieves a major milestone

The Malayalam film industry has always been driven by content – oriented films over the stardom. That is the reason sometimes bigger star Heroes films will not even get the opening if the content is bad, and small films which have good content will post huge numbers at the box office. Now a small film RDX, which was released on August 25th worked so big at the box office because of positive talk and reviews which helped the film join the 50Cr gross club in Kerala.

Made as an action entertainer, “RDX” marked a historic milestone in Malayalam cinema. The film has broken records by reaching the 50 crore gross collection mark at the Kerala Box Office. “RDX” has become the second non-manual Malayalam film to achieve this prestigious benchmark.

RDX has become the seventh film in Kerala box office history to join the exclusive 50+ crore grosser club. It will be the fourth film if only Mollywood films are considered.
