Vishal’s latest film, Mark Antony, was released on Friday and opened to mostly positive reviews and great applause for Vishal and SJ Suryah’s performance in particular. The film opened with huge numbers in Tamil and had a decent opening in Telugu states. Now it has registered the career biggest weekend for Vishal.
Mark Antony did extremely well at the box office in its first weekend. Especially in the Tamil language, the film exceeded all the expectations. According to the early estimates, the film has collected around 43Cr gross worldwide and collection trend is excellent with day 3 being more than day 2, which was more than day 1. Tomorrow is Vinayaka Chavithi and the film is expected to take the advantage of it.
Mark Antony stars Vishal and SJ Suryah in dual roles. Ritu Varma and Abhinaya are the female leads, while Sunil and Selvaraghavan appear in important roles. Directed by Adhik Ravichandran, Mark Antony’s music is scored by GV Prakash Kumar.
