Medium Telugu budget films can’t afford Anirudh

The young sensational music director Anirudh Ravichander is now the busiest music director in the South Indian Cinema. Owing to his craze, the filmmakers in Tollywood and Kollywood everyone want to work with Anirudh only. Such craze and stardom he has created for himself. However, because of his high and pricey remuneration, the makers of medium budget films in Telugu can not afford him.

Rajinikanth’s Jailer and Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan both the recent blockbusters, have their music composed by Anirudh Ravichander. So, with the recent success track, Anirudh became very popular in the Indian cinema industry. The demand for Anirudh became so high in the Telugu industry as too many movie teams want to rope in Anirudh in their film but the remuneration that he is demanding is big.

According to the reports, Anirudh is demanding the remuneration in double digits now, which is more than double or even triple of what the makers can offer to the present music directors. After hearing the remuneration quoted by Anirudh, the makers are back stepping as medium budget film which will be made on a reasonable budget cannot afford him.

Anirudh is currently working for NTR’s most prestigious project, Devara, under the direction of Koratala Siva. He’s also working for Thalapathy Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj’s craziest film, Leo. He is also a part of Kamal Haasan – Shankar’s Indian 2, VD12 and Ajith, and Simbu’s films. Along with these films, many projects are said to be in the discussion stage.

Ustaad Bhagat Singh, Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming film, has gone through many reshuffles and hurdles during its shooting phase, and it is widely known to everyone. Nonetheless, the movie is preparing to rectify all the issues, and the latest news is that Power Star Pawan Kalyan allocated a mini schedule for the film

As per the reports, the new schedule of the film will be beginning tomorrow and Pawan Kalyan will join the shoots, but it will be only for the 4 days and after that, he will switch to his political campaign for Varahi Yatra.

Director Harish Shankar knows very well that he has to complete the shooting part of Pawan Kalyan with this kind of mini schedules as the actor has to fulfill his political duties as well. He indirectly posted on X (formerly known as Twitter) whatever may be the little time does Pawan Kalyan allocate, it is enough for him.

Sree Leela is paired with Pawan Kalyan in the movie, which features prominent actors in important roles. Coming to the technical crew, Ayananka Bose handles the cinematography and Rock star Devi Sri Prasad helms the music. Editing is by Chota K Prasad. The action sequences are overseen by stunt director duo Ram – Lakshman.

Salaar makers create confusion with release dates once more

It is widely known to everyone that the postponement of Prabhas’s Pan Indian film, Salaar has severely disappointed the fans, along with the trade circles as well, because all the hype around the film was affected because of the sudden postponement from the date of September 28th. After that, the makers of Salaar have created confusion with the next release date of the film and with the latest news, they have done it once more.

This evening, the Bollywood, and all Indian Trade Circles were abuzz with the surprising news of Salaar’s arrival on December 22, 2023. This is not the first time for Salaar team, they are consistently confusing all industries with release dates by not announcing officially.

The makers even had not announced during the postponement on time, and they had taken plenty of days to announce it. Even after postponement, the makers said multiple dates to distributors like Diwali release, November end release, Christmas release, Sankranthi release, Republic Day release and Summer release.

At different times, they have said different dates with the distributors. As this year is packed with many big films already announcing release dates, the distributors suggested the makers to release the film in the next year, and it was reported that the makers also said to be okay with that decision but suddenly now all the Hindi exhibitors received a mail from Hindi distributor that Salaar is planning to be released in theaters on 22nd December which has again created confusion on the release date.

On the same date, multiple Telugu films like Hi Nanna, Saindhav are announced and in Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki also announced. We have to wait and see whether this news of Salaar’s new release date turns out to be true or not.

Tollywood’s top production house Sri Venkateswara Creations has announced on social media that it is going to do a new project with young director Ravi Kiran Kola. They announced that they are happy to be doing the upcoming project with Ravi Kiran Kola. He is the director who stole the audience hearts with the film Raja Varu Rani garu. Though the production house, Sri Venkateswara Banner did not announce the name of the film’s Hero, it is being reported that Vijay Deverakonda will be the one who will be leading this project.

The inside reports strongly suggest that this film is signed by Vijay Deverakonda. It is interesting to note that Vijay Deverakonda is already doing a film under the direction of Petla Parasuram’s in Dil Raju banner now he signed this film as well. Reportedly, the film will be made as a gangster drama.

Director Ravi Kiran Kola made his debut in Tollywood with the film Raja Varu Rani garu. Kiran Abbavaram was the hero and Rahasya Gorak was the heroine of the film, which was released in 2019. Kiran, who got success with his first film, is now coming up with a series of films. Meanwhile, director Ravi Kiran Kola has announced his new project. He even worked as a writer and showrunner for Ashoka Vanam Lo Arjuna Kalyanam, starring Vishwak Sen.

Ram Charan fans celebrate 16 glorious years with Rangasthalam

Owing to the re-release trend, the fans of Global Star Ram Charan are arranging special shows of Rangasthalam. It is being done to commemorate Ram Charan’s 16 glorious years journey in the film industry. The film will be released in certain locations on September 27th to celebrate the occasion. Srikakulam, Vijayanagaram, Vizag, Rajahmundry, Nellore, Ananthpur, and Hyderabad are the locations where the film will be released, and a special poster was released to announce it.

The director of Rangasthalam, which was released in 2018, was Sukumar. The film’s cast included Ram Charan, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Aadhi Pinisetty, Prakash Raj, Anasuya Bharadwaj, and Jagapathi Babu. Naveen Yerneni, Y Ravi Shankar, and CV Mohan, under the production name Mythri Movie Makers, produced it. Devi Sri Prasad provided the music for the film. Now to celebrate their favorite hero’s 16 years glorious journey of Ram Charan, his fans are arranging the special shows of Rangasthalam.

The movie became one of the most successful Telugu films, racking up around Rs 200 Crores Gross. The National Film Award for Best Audiography was given to it. The website Film Companion has included Rangasthalam as one of the 25 Greatest Telugu Films Of The Decade.

Ram Charan is currently working on his upcoming movie Game Changer. Kiara Advani, Anjali, SJ Suryah, Jayaram, Sunil, Nassar, Samuthirakani, and Srikanth are the rest of the film’s cast. Being made Under Sri Venkateswara Creations, S Shankar is the director and Dil Raju and Sirish are the producers. S Thaman is composing the music for the film.

Ram Charan will begin a new project that is tentatively titled RC16 after completing Game Changer. Buchi Babu Sana is going to direct the new project. According to reports, It has been reported that the film will have Vijay Sethupathi and many other notable stars as a part of the film.

‘800’ is an emotionally moving film: Makers

The biopic of the legendary Sri Lankan bowler Muthiah Muralitharan, titled 800, is all set to hit theaters on October 6, 2023. The film will be released in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. Madhur Mittal, renowned for his role in Slumdog Millionaire, takes on the lead role in this movie, directed by MS Sripathy. Produced by Vivek Rangachari of Train Motion Pictures and distributed by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad, this biopic’s pre-release event was held today in Hyderabad.

Gracing the event, Muralitharan’s friend and former cricketer VVS Laxman suggested that the biopic would be inspirational. He said that Muralitharan is a role model. Something similar was hinted at by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad, who also touched upon his long-standing wish to collaborate with director Sripathy. He indicated that ‘800’ will go down as Sridevi Movies’ one of the most memorable movies.

Based on what Muralitharan and Laxman shared with the audience, it seems ‘800’ is going to be rich in human emotions. Muralitharan has been doing charity work through his NGO in Sri Lanka, Laxman said. “Murali and his foundation have been doing unbelievable work for the underprivileged,” he added.

The film, whose music is by Ghibran, will talk about the struggles undergone by Muthiah Muralitharan.

Jailer director Nelson makes debut in production

Tamil young director Nelson Dilipkumar is on a roll in his career. The film’s Pooja ceremony was held at the revered Sri Kalahasti temple recently, and it was announced that it will feature Nupur Sanon, who is the sister of Bollywood star Kriti Sanon as the female lead, but recently, she walked out of the project because of dates unavailability. This evening, Manchu Vishnu took to his official X (formerly known as Twitter)Account and confirmed that the film, Kannappa, will feature a stellar cast of superstars.

He shared a long note starting with a heading “EPIC ADVENTURE BEGINS”

Today, I stand in awe as the adventure of a lifetime unfolds in the picturesque landscapes of New Zealand, as we commence the shooting of ‘Kannappa.’ This dream has been seven years in the making, and its realization is a testament to the divine blessings of Lord Shiva and Parvathi Devi.

The last eight months have been nothing short of a whirlwind for everyone involved in #Kannappa. Sleepless nights became the norm, festivals were momentarily forgotten, holidays became scarce, and a good, uninterrupted 5-hour sleep felt like a luxurious indulgence. The anxiety and nervousness still linger, but our spirits remain unwavering.

Seven years ago, when the eminent Mr. Tanikella Bharani first shared the concept of #Kannappa with me, I was instantly captivated by its potential. I took it upon myself to further craft and refine the story, and I cannot express enough gratitude to the incredible talents who joined me on this journey. The support of stalwarts like Sri. Parachuri Gopalakrishna Garu, Sri. Vijendra Prasad Garu, Sri. Thotapalli Sainath Garu, Sri. Thota Prasad Garu, Directors Sri. Nageshwara Reddy Garu, and Sri. Eswar Reddy Garu has been instrumental in developing a script that promises to be larger than life.

In just a few days, a 600-strong cast and crew from around the world will converge in New Zealand to bring ‘Kannappa’ to life. Their sacrifices, leaving behind loved ones, are a testament to their unwavering belief in this project.

Anirudh replaced, new music director for Naga Chaitanya’s next

Naga Chaitanya is collaborating with director Chandoo Mondeti for his next project. This will be the third film in their combination after Premam and Savyasachi. The film is being made with a massive budget under the renowned banner Geetha Arts.

Naga Chaitanya desperately needs a hit, so the makers have roped in Sai Pallavi as the female lead. Both Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi earlier worked together in the hit film Love Story directed by Shekhar Kammula.

The film was supposed to have Anirudh Ravichander’s music but now he has been replaced. Due to some reasons, Anirudh, who is having a great run with blockbuster movies has walked out and now Santosh Narayanan will compose the music for NC23.

Naga Chaitanya and Chandoo Mondeti recently interacted with the fishing families in the K Matchilesam village, Srikakulam, and learned more about their way of life. The film is a rural drama and will require Naga Chaitanya to speak in local dialect as he is playing a fisherman in he movie.
