In the last few days, there have been rumors that rebel star Prabhas and Tamil director Lokesh Kanagaraj will be a coming together for a film. Recently, director Lokesh Kanagaraj revealed in an interview that the news is true. Lokesh Kanagaraj, who has shown his talent to the film industry with films like ‘Khaidi’, ‘Master’ and ‘Vikram’. Even though he has made only a few films, he has reached the level of a star director. The competition with Dunki is turning positive for Salaar

Salaar vs Dunki is probably the biggest clash in Indian cinema in recent times. On one hand, we have Prashanth Neel and Prabhas bringing a combination of the Brand KGF and Brand Baahubali. On the other hand, we have Shahrukh Khan and Raj Kumar Hirani who have introduced 200 to 600 crore clubs in Bollywood and have 4 industry hits between them. On top of this, SRK is in golden form with 2 back to back 1000 crore grossers this year.

This is a much-anticipated clash and it looks like Salaar is benefitting majorly from this. Competition indeed affects the collections of the movie as each film eats into the other film’s box office. But, at the same time, competition also helps to create massive buzz on the film. Recently we have seen that when stars are clashing, it will provide great publicity. The same has happened for Salaar which undoubtedly has a huge buzz in south India.

But the same can’t be said about North where Shah Rukh and Raj Kumar Hirani are a much bigger brand. Harris Jayaraj has previously composed the music for Kamal Haasan in ‘Vettaiyadu Vilayadu’, which was directed by Gautham Menon, and the film’s songs and background music were massive hits among fans. If Harris Jayaraj gets hired for ‘KH 233’ it will be the composer’s reunion with Kamal Haasan after 17 years.

The movie ‘KH 233’ is said to be set in a military setting, and it will start in the second week of November. ED issues notices to actor Navdeep in Madhapur Drugs Case

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has sent notices to Tollywood actor Navdeep in connection with the Madapur drug case. This action is the result of a previous investigation by the Narcotics Bureau regarding the same case. The Narcotics Bureau had previously investigated Navdeep.

On the 10th of this month, he has been summoned by the ED to appear before them. Navdeep Pallapolu was questioned about his interactions with Nigerian drug peddlers who were arrested in Bengaluru on September 14 during a recent investigation related to a case filed at Gudimalkapur police station.

Navdeep had approached the high court stating that he had nothing to do with the drugs case. He had filed a petition seeking to see that he should not be arrested. The court had ordered that no arrests be made until September 19. The deadline given by the court has been completed now. It remains to be seen how Navdeep will react to the ED notice.

The Kollywood has been captivated by ‘Leo’ mania, despite the film’s recently released trailer getting a mixed response. The Thalapathy Vijay starrer is all set to grace the cinemas on October 19. It is said to be the most violent film in Vijay’s filmography, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. Now, the film has reportedly got affected by Censorship as a few important scenes were cut, which has made Lokesh Kanagaraj express his disappointment.

Reportedly, the Censor Board has asked the makers to cut a few scenes from Leo because those scenes were very violent that cannot be watched by even 18+ audiences. It is said that the deleted scenes involve some action sequences as well. Also, Lokesh had to mute a few bad words from the movie’s dialogues. “I felt a little disappointed as we can’t place those scenes, but we can’t do anything as the Censor board told to remove” said Lokesh as per the reports.

However, the film ‘Leo’ was cleared by the censor process in the UK without any cuts, as announced by the distributor today. The movie’s first half lasts 1 hour, 13 minutes and 9 seconds, while the second half lasts 1 hour, 30 minutes and 3 seconds. Leo’s exact runtime is 2 hours 43 minutes and 12 seconds (163.12 minutes). This is being shared on social media at the moment.

The film’s other highlight is the return of Vijay and Trisha’s combo after 15 years. Their last collaboration was in Kuruvi (2008). Vijay and director Lokesh Kanagaraj have collaborated on Leo again after Master. The film further features Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Mysskin, Gautam Vasudev Menon, and Sandy in key roles with Anirudh Ravichander composing the tunes. Lalith Kumar has produced the film, Leo, under the banner of Seven Screen Studio.
