In the last few days, there have been rumors that rebel star Prabhas and Tamil director Lokesh Kanagaraj will be a coming together for a film. Recently, director Lokesh Kanagaraj revealed in an interview that the news is true. With this, the fans of Prabhas are happy and this film is expected to be the biggest movie in the career of both the actor and director.
Lokesh Kanagaraj, who has shown his talent to the film industry with films like ‘Khaidi’, ‘Master’ and ‘Vikram’. Even though he has made only a few films, he has reached the level of a star director. Karthi’s ‘Khaidi’, which was released in the first installment of his LCU became a super successful film. Then needless to say, Kamal Haasan’s ‘Vikram’ also became a massive hit after that. The young director has created the Lokesh Cinematic Universe and there will be more films that will come from the same universe.
‘Leo’ is Lokesh’s second film with Thalapathy Vijay. The film is rumored to have a connection with Lokesh Cinematic Universe. In this order, there were reports that Prabhas will be doing a film with him. But there has been no clarity on the matter so far. Lokesh Kanagaraj has responded to this in the latest interview to the Tamil media.
He said that he will be doing a film with rebel star Prabhas. But this one will not materialize immediately as both Prabhas and Lokesh are busy with multiple films in their hands. On one hand, Lokesh will make a movie with Rajinikanth as his next, and then he has Khaithi 2, Vikram 2 and Rolex character-based film.
Even Prabhas is also currently busy with Project K and a film with Maruthi. His upcoming film Salaar is scheduled to be released on December 22nd, and he has to take part in the finishing parts of these film as well. So it is certain that there will be at least a 3 – 4 year gap for Lokesh Kanagaraj and Prabhas’s film to start.
