Lokesh Kanagaraj confirms the order of LCU, with Vikram 2 marking the end of it

Lokesh Kanagaraj has established himself as one of the most sought-after talents in South cinema, with back-to-back acclaimed movies that also became massive hits at the box office as well. The young filmmaker established an action drama world in Tamil cinema with the much-loved actioner Kaithi, and it was strengthened by his immediate film Vikram which became a Sensational blockbuster at the box office.

The director is awaiting his latest film, Leo’s release and as a part of promotion he is continuously attending interviews, and he is revealing all the details about his career and one of the main points in his interviews is LCU which was everyone waiting to know.

Lokesh said he would rather not reveal whether Leo is part of LCU or not at this time, but many of the audience feels it’s a part of LCU. After this film, Lokesh will be doing a film with Rajinikanth which is a standalone film and nothing related to LCU. Then he will do Kaithi 2 and after that, a film on Rolex Character from LCU will commence, and finally, he will move on to Vikram 2, which will be the end of LCU. After all these movies, he also confirmed a movie with Prabhas.

Moreover, Lokesh Kanagaraj shared his thoughts on the success of creating an action drama universe in Tamil cinema with LCU in his recent interview and promised to expand it with more sequels and spin-offs. The Leo director spoke about the possibilities for other established directors to join his universe during the interview.

Lokesh Kanagaraj stated that he intends to build a strong foundation for LCU before handing it over to other filmmakers. The director believes that the world-building of his action drama universe is still in its early stages and requires more detailing and strong characterizations. Lokesh has emphasized that he has no plans to collaborate with other established filmmakers in the industry for LCU movies as now.
