Gabbar Singh, their previous collaboration, was a massive success at the box office. However, their second collaboration is experiencing multiple delays and is always plagued by negativity. While dealing with all of this, Pawan Kalyan forgot the name of this movie.

For the opening it got, everyone expected Leo to be the 1st 30M+ for Kollywood in Overseas. But the film opened to mixed word of mouth, and the trend for the next days was good but not extraordinary like the opening day for the entire weekend.

For the four days, the movie created a record by collecting in the range of 18M. But on the 1st Monday, the movie dropped to the 550K+ range, more than the expected fall. Now, it appears that the film has no chance of reaching 30M and will likely end up in the same range of Jailer numbers, which means in the field of 24 – 25 M.

Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the film has an impressive cast consisting of Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Priya Anand, Mansoor Ali Khan, Gautam Vasudev Menon, Mysskin, and others in pivotal roles. The talented Anirudh Ravichander is the music composer for this big project, which Seven Screen Studio produced.

Chiranjeevi’s Mega157 is in talks with a Tamil director. It is widely known that Chiranjeevi’s upcoming big fantasy film under the direction of Mallidi Vassishta has begun recently. Now, Chiranjeevi’s Mega157 is in talks with a Tamil director. At first, the plan for Chiru was to make his 156 with Director Kalyan Krishna and his 157th film With Vassishta. Still, after Bhola Shankar’s result, Chiranjeevi canceled Kalyan Krishna’s film, and Vassishta’s film became 156, and it has been announced officially.

For his next film, Mega157, Chiranjeevi is in talks with Tamil director PS Mithran, which is said to be based on a solid social message, and the script work is happening currently. Chiranjeevi plans to do two films simultaneously as Vassishta’s film will need massive post-production and VFX work so he can manage two films simultaneously.

Mithran had previously narrated a script to Ram Charan, but the project has yet to come to fruition. Now he has come up with another exciting subject that will perfectly suit Megastar’s stardom, per the reports.

The ‘Unchained’ video announcement takes us into the world of Vivek Athreya and Nani where Nani is chained and breaks the shackles with a special relation between him and ‘Saturday’ being revealed.

Saripodhaa Sanivaaram marks the return of the actor-director combo. Nani had earlier collaborated with Vivek Athreya for the romantic drama Ante Sundaraniki which received a mixed verdict at the box office. Can Leo Become an Industry Hit? This is the question and the discussion point of the Vijay fans and Kollywood trade circles. It is widely known that the latest action thriller of Thalapathy Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj has been gathering massive numbers at the box office since its release. Now, let’s observe a detailed analysis of Leo Industry Hit chances.

For 5 days, Leo’s approximate collections are 402 Crs worldwide

  • Tamil Nadu – 125 Cr 
  • Kerala – 40 Cr 
  • Karnataka – 31 Cr 
  • AP/TG – 33Cr 
  • ROI – 18Cr 

Total all India gross is approx. 247 Cr, and the Overseas Gross will be around 155 Cr. So, if we put together all the numbers, the film’s Total Worldwide Gross for 5 days is 402 Cr.

The film will surely reach the Top 3rd place in Kollywood films and is expected to join the 500Cr club by the upcoming Friday. After this, how the movie will sustain will decide the possibility of an industry hit.

For all versions, the Top 2 films of Kollywood are 2 Point 0 at 665Cr and Jailer at 625Cr Gross. Now it looks like there is no chance of Vijay’s Leo to beat 2 Point 0, and the latter is expected to remain at the top 1 position unless there is a heavy 2nd weekend for Lokesh Kanagaraj’s directorial.

If we take only the Tamil version, Rajinikanth’s Jailer is the industry hit with more than 500 Cr+ Gross. In its Tamil version, Leo has collected around 350Cr as of now. Hence, it needs to collect another 150Cr+ to become a Tamil version industry hit, which is an exciting battle, and the film has a chance to do so in Tamil Nadu. Only this film has an opportunity to do another 100Cr Gross.

While in Kerala, it will easily do another 20Cr at least, and in Karnataka, another 15Cr. At the Overseas, it is expected to collect at least 5M from here, which means around 40Cr Gross. So 175Cr can be anticipated at a minimum from here for the film and can go beyond the estimates unless there is a considerable drop. 

So, for the Tamil version, Leo will most likely become an industry hit, and for all versions, the trade is estimating it will be a tight battle between Jailer and Leo for the Top 2; 2 Point 0 is likely to settle at the no1 for a few more months.

The release date is a big advantage for the film. The movie is releasing on 22nd December both Christmas and New Year on Monday, 1st and 2nd weekend long holiday weekend for the film. No other films are releasing at this time. The promotion of the film is planned to start in November. The film is a true pan-India film after a very long time and the movie is expected to perform big in all Indian markets.
