Kalki 2898 AD features Deepika Padukone as the female lead, along with Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Disha Patani, Pasupathy, and other renowned actors in crucial roles. This ambitious mythological sci-fi venture is being produced on a massive scale by Vyjayanthi Movies, with Santhosh Narayanan composing the film’s music.

The Official update on Guntur Kaaram’s 1st single release date is out. The film’s producer, Suryadevara Naga Vamsi, has officially confirmed that the first song from the most awaited movie in the combination of Superstar Mahesh and Wizard of Words Trivikram will be released on the latter’s birthday.As the combination of actor and director is massive, there have been huge expectations for the film’s songs. The team had first planned to release the single on Mahesh’s birthday but was later postponed to August end, then September, then Dasara.

Now, the producer Naga Vamsi officially updated that the song will be released on November 1st week, and he assured us this is 100% confirmed and there will be no postponements. Mahesh fans are pleased as the official update on Guntur Kaaram’s 1st single release date is out.

The producer stated that as there were huge expectations on the occasion, they were checking and correcting the lyrical video continuously, which was the reason for the delay. Vamsi affirmed that there will be no delays from now on as the first song will be released in one week, and the remaining four songs will have to be released before the release date. So, as it is already November, they will not make any delays, as per the energetic producer.

Trivikram’s birthday falls on 7th November, and most likely, the song will be released on this occasion. Naga Vamsi also spoke about multiple releases and competitions during Sankranthi.

“When the audience’s first choice is Guntur Kaaram in the Sankranthi clash, why should I discuss it with other producers? In fact, they should come and discuss with me,” Vamsi said when asked about the Sankranthi clash.

Directed by Trivikram Srinivas, Guntur Kaaram marks the third collaboration between him and Superstar Mahesh Babu after Athadu and Khaleja. The project is being produced under the Haarika and Hassine Creations banner. The film also stars the latest sensational actress, Sree Leela, and upcoming actress Meenakshi Chaudhary, who will share the screen with Mahesh for the first time. Thaman S is scoring the music for the film.

Nag Ashwin talks about Kalki 2898 AD’s VFX work being primarily handled in India in a recent event. The talented and ambitious filmmaker said he always wished to finish the VFX work of Prabhas’s big film in India, but eventually, that could not happen. 

At the inauguration of VFX Summit 2023 in Hyderabad on Tuesday, director Nag Ashwin talked about the VFX work involved in Kalki 2898 AD, his magnum opus, starring Prabhas along with Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan and Amitabh Bachchan in significant roles. Nag Ashwin spoke about Kalki 2898 AD’s VFX work primarily handled in India.

“Almost all the films I assisted in before becoming a filmmaker have had me working in the VFX department. India has seen a significant improvement in the quality of VFX over the past ten years. The quality has come a long way. Even Hollywood studios are coming to India to collaborate with the best studios,” the ‘Yevade Subrahmanyam’ maker said.

The ‘Mahanati’ director stated that he initially wanted to finish all the VFX work for Prabhas’s movie in India. The sentiment of ‘Make in India’ was a source of inspiration for him. “Although most of the visual effects (VFX) for ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ were done locally, domestic capacity prevented us from doing everything ourselves”. Ashwin stated that the entire VFX for his upcoming movies will be done in India without using foreign studios.

The film, produced ambitiously by Aswani Dutt under the banner of Vyjayanthi Movies, is scheduled for release in the first half of 2024. Santosh Narayanan is composing the music for the film.

Thalapathy Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Leo movie was released on October 19th and opened to mixed reviews. Still, with the hype around the film and Lokesh – Vijay’s combination brand, the movie has achieved a breakeven mark in all territories, posting terrific numbers. However, Leo movie team is degrading themselves about their multiple theories of the film’s flashback.

At first, Director Lokesh Kanagaraj accepted the mistake that flashback did not work for audiences, and everyone appreciated him for that. However, the Leo team suddenly started to degrade themselves by saying the flashback might be fake, which is why it did not work for audiences.

They cannot accept that the flashback’s idea was terrible and come up with multiple theories. Last night, the team released a scene from the film where the character of Mansoor Ali Khan says that the flashback is his perspective. One cannot understand why the Leo team is doing all these things after release.

They should have put the scene mentioned above in the movie but revealed it after getting bad reviews for flashback. 

The Netizens are saying they need help understanding what the unit of Leo finally wants to prove to the audiences. It looks like they want to say audiences are not brainy enough to understand, or they intentionally made a weak flashback only to come up with a “perspective” analogy. They should stop these theories, at least now.

Jawan OTT Details and Business: Shahrukh Khan’s Jawan is an all-time blockbuster with an 1150Cr+ collection worldwide. Netflix bought the Jawan OTT rights for 150 Cr. The movie was made on a budget of close to 400 Cr. The total theatrical share and non-theatrical business of the film is close to 750 Cr. The producer got record profits on this film.

The movie is streaming on Netflix from tonight in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil languages. The OTT Version will be an extended version of the theatrical version. The theatrical version runtime is 2 hours 49 minutes and the OTT version runtime is said to be in the range of 3 hours.

Atlee said that in the post-release interview, many good scenes got trimmed in editing due to runtime issues. The OTT version will feature those trimmed scenes. As promised the OTT version is coming with extended runtime.
