Recently, Vijay Deverakonda’s Kushi also failed in Telugu, but it worked well in Tamil, and it has collected more than 10Cr Gross there. Content wise, Vijay’s recent movies did not work well, but he succeeded in establishing his brand and if the content in his films work positively, then definitely he will get good numbers from other languages.

Nani’s struggle in other languages

On the other hand, Nani is also trying to get market in other languages like Vijay Deverakonda, and he is delivering good content and always participates in aggressive promotions, but he is not getting the market that he expected. Nani’s films like Shyam Singha Roy, Ante Sundaraniki, Dasara, and latest Hi Nanna have been released in multiple languages and the content of all the films was also good, but still, the audiences are not coming to the theaters.

Varun Tej’s Matka based on a real incident that shook the entire nation. It is widely known that Mega Prince Varun Tej has announced a Pan Indian film, Matka, under the direction of Karuna Kumar. Produced by Vyra Entertainments, the Pan India Movie Matka’s Regular shoot begins today.

Matka marks the Pan Indian debut of Varun Tej

Mega Prince Varun Tej is making Pan Indian debut with the film Matka to be helmed by Karuna Kumar of Palasa and Sri Devi Soda Center fame. Dr Vijender Reddy Teegala and Mohan Cherukuri (CVM) of Vyra Entertainments will produce the movie on a large canvas with a high budget and top-notch technical standards.

The regular shoot of the movie began today in Hyderabad. A massive set was built in the city where the shoot is currently taking place. The team recreated the milieu from the 50s to the 80s, as the story takes place between 1958 and 1982.

The story of Varun Tej’s Matka is based on a real incident that shook the entire nation. Varun Tej will appear in four different get-ups in the movie, as the story spans 24 years. He undergoes a complete makeover for the movie, which will be the highest budget entertainer for the actor.

Nora Fatehi and Meenakshi Chowdary are roped in to play opposite Varun Tej in the film that also features Naveen Chandra and Kannada Kishore.

The makers zeroed in on a team of wonderful technicians to work for the movie. A Kishor Kumar Thangalaan fame will crank the camera off , while GV Prakash Kumar, who is one of the busiest composers in the south will be providing music. Karthika Srinivas R (Pushpa Fame) is the editor. Ashish Teja Pulala is the production designer and Suresh is the art director.

The movie will have multiple action sequences which will be supervised by 4 fight masters. Matka will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi languages.

Vijay Deverakonda’s Family Star was initially planned for Sankranthi 2024 with 14th January, 2024 as its release date. Dil Raju tried a lot to bring this film for Sankranthi but due to USA visa issues for shooting and Parusram’s insistence on not releasing the film in a hurry moved the film to a summer release. Mahesh Babu, Ravi Teja, and Nagarjuna are other big stars in the Sankranthi lineup

Nagarjuna was also quite keen on getting his film Naa Saami Ranga to release only for Sankranthi. He did not want to move the film to any other date as he wants to deliver a blockbuster and felt Sankranthi season would deliver that for sure. Naa Saami Ranga seems to be a good commercial package with a star cast also featuring Allari Naresh and Raj Tarun among others.

Naa Saami Ranga team has started the promotions and released the first single and heroine’s character intro. Allari Naresh’s intro song will be released tomorrow. The team is shooting the film without any gap to release for Sankranthi 2024 without fail. The makers of Naa Saami Ranga have picked Family Star’s release date of 14th January. It should also be noted that the last release in the festival days has a good advantage and Nagarjuna and co. are trying to capitalize on this.

Mega Brother and Producer Naga Babu Konidela gave Rs 35 lakhs, obtained from the re-release of the movie Gudumba Shankar to Pawan Kalyan’s Jana Sena Party. Naga Babu was the producer of the film under the Anjana Productions banner. Fans of Pawan Kalyan are sharing this news happily as Naga babu donates Gudumba Shankar’s re-release collections to Janasena.

Naga Babu gave Nadendla Manohar a cheque worth Rs. 35 lakhs. He stated they previously showed the newly released collections of Orange (Rs 1 crore five lakhs) and Jalsa (Rs 1 crore) to the Jana Sena party fund.

Naga Babu assured that any future proceeds from his re-released old films would also be donated to the Jana Sena Party, as he expressed his commitment to the party and its welfare.

“We’ve constructed another Ramoji Film City II within the existing Ramoji City. For Salaar, enormous sets created by art director Shivakumar and their team span over 100 acres. Additionally, in Dandumailaram, we’ve erected a half-kilometer wall and massive sets covering 100 acres. In my opinion, the Salaar scale is five times that of KGF. Technically, we’re on a different level. This is one of the largest sets created in Indian films.” said DOP Bhuvan. Prabhas fans are pumped up as they listen to the words by the cameraman of Salaar, stating Salaar is five times larger than KGF.

Bhuvan discussed the technical aspects of Salaar Part 1, emphasizing using a new Alexa 35 that ensures exceptional image quality comparable to IMAX even on regular screens, a groundbreaking feat for Indian cinema. Salaar’s visual grandeur is primarily based on practical sets (95%) and minimal CGI (5%). The movie promises to be a cinematic spectacle that focuses on original sets.

Prabhas plays the main character in Salaar, alongside Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, and Jagapathi Babu in other significant roles. As per the trailer, the film will have intense action sequences. That is why the makers of Salaar did not compromise on action scenes for a censor certificate.
