“Hello Everyone! We announced our ‘Ayalaan’ simultaneous release in Tamil and Telugu four months before sankranthi. We haven’t made this decision anew in the light of new realities. The postponement of the Telugu version of ‘Ayalaan’ was to happen eventually. We wanted to stay away from all the controversy and discussed on it prior.

Even after knowing all this, some sections of the media are making unnecessary blame game on a single individual. We postponed the movie’s release for mutual benefits, and the new release date will be announced soon.

Dear media friends, think what will happen to our Telugu Film Industry that’s flourishing at the pan-Indian and the pan-world scale if such negative-minded websites continue to make these types of controversies. This sort of greedy propaganda will affect our film’s release and reception in different languages, especially in neighboring states.

There is a danger of severe opposition to Telugu films in other areas if this continues. And the damage will become huge in no-time. Those who don’t write about movies unless they are paid, are going out of their way to generate controversies this time. Maybe, that is why our producer friends are also using controversy as a publicity stunt. The audience observing all these are already fed up with it.

This is not good for us or anyone in the industry. I don’t want to suggest what needs to be done and what shouldn’t be done. This appeal is not directed at any particular individual. We are only expressing our agony.

Eagle Movie Set for Clash with Three Films, No Solo Release

A week ago, the Sankranti lineup had 5 Tollywood movies in the form of Guntur Kaaram, Hanuman, Naa Saami Ranga, Saindhav and Eagle. After multiple deliberations and in the interest of all movies getting a good number of theatres, Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja’s Eagle was pushed to February 9th release.

Speaking about the postponement, Eagle’s producer stated that,”Releasing five films for Sankranthi will affect us and everyone. Three films getting released for Sankranthi is fine; even four films are okay, but five films getting released at a time will affect everyone, and no other movie has a chance to be postponed.”

When Eagle was postponed to February, they hoped for a solo release, but that’s not the case anymore. Eagle will have a direct competition with 3 movies. ‘Yatra 2′ is releasing on 8th February while Sundeep Kishan’s ‘Ooru Peru Bairavakona‘ is releasing on 9th February. And now, one more film has joined this list- Lal Salaam which will have Rajinikanth’s special cameo.

The makers of Lal Salaam announced the update a while back. Aishwarya Rajinikanth directs the film and it will star Vishnu Vishal, Vikranth in key roles while AR Rahman has composed its music.

It is widely known that the movie, Devara is a two-part film. The first part will be released on 5th April. The makers are planning to attach the film’s glimpse in theaters for Sankranthi.

Janhvi Kapoor plays NTR’s love interest, while Saif Ali Khan is the antagonist in the film. NTR will be seen in a dual role as both father and son. Anirudh is the music composer, and fans eagerly anticipate the film’s songs and background score. NTR Arts and Yuvasudha Arts are jointly producing the film.

Guntur Kaaram overseas advances cross the 10Cr mark for opening day

Guntur Kaaram advance bookings are trending on a super strong note. In North America, the advance bookings for premiers are in the range of $800K already and $1.5M+ premiere numbers are expected. The advance bookings are looking very good across North America for the 1st day as well.

The total for premiers + Opening day advance bookings are more than $950K. Apart from this, many new shows and locations are expected to be added today. Coming to the UK, Australia, and the rest of the regions the average pre-sales are expected to be in the range of 250K for opening day.

Total for day 1 pre-sales are in the range of 1.2M [10Cr] for now and a big jump is expected from now as the Middle East bookings have opened. More shows are getting added in other countries and bigger numbers are on cards. Guntur Kaaram is expected to open a minimum of $3 million from overseas on the opening day and it may even touch $3.5M in opening.

Because a section of the media is trying to project him badly, which is not at all good. The media targets Dil Raju intentionally, resulting in frustration and emotion from him.

Recently, Dil Raju reacted to the debate on the internet about him. He stated the media people are unnecessarily making negative comments against him.  Dil Raju said that he is not against HANU MAN’s release, but he had suggested that it would be better to postpone the date considering the current problem regarding the theaters.

He also asserted that he would not spare anyone if false propaganda spreads against him. He also warned that those who do so will have it from him.
