It is widely known that Mahesh Babu’s ‘Guntur Kaaram,’ Teja Sajja’s ‘Hanuman,’ Venkatesh’s ‘Saindhav,’ and Nagarjuna’s ‘Naa Saami Ranga’ will be released on this Sankranthi. However, since Hanuman is the only small hero film out of these four films, the controversy started regarding the allotment of theatres.
There were comments that Producer Dil Raju is not supporting small films. There was a strong rumor that Dil Raju would release the Tamil film Ayalaan in Telugu states to not give the theaters for Hanuman and to hurt them. Dil Raju was angry with the negative portrayal of his image, and he lashed out at the media.
Dil Raju strongly reacts to the false news about him
According to Dil Raju, some websites misrepresent his comments and news writing. Dil Raju has been furious over this. “In the industry, stones are thrown at us by whom we think of as ours. Every Sankranthi, I am being criticized in some way or the other. Some websites have wrongly distorted Chiranjeevi’s words against me. I will take action at the websites if you write false news about me. The criticism in terms of business is being turned in their favor by a few websites. From today onwards, there is no question of suppressing such news.”
Apart from the four Telugu mentioned above, the Tamil movie ‘Ayalaan’ was also scheduled to be released this Sankranthi by Dil Raju. He clarified that he is not releasing the Tamil Film Ayalaan in the Telugu States.
Dil Raju talks about the theater allocation for Sankranthi releases
Reacting to the words that Hanuman is not getting theatres in Nizam, “There are enough theatres for ‘Hanuman’ and ‘Guntur Karam.’ But Nagarjuna and Venkatesh’s films are not getting sufficient theatres. I am not releasing Ayalaan in Telugu. I will always be available if you want clarification, but I’ll see you if you use my name for your website clicks.” Said Dil Raju.
Megastar Chiranjeevi recently spoke about this controversy at the pre-release event of Hanuman. “In the past, Dil Raju competed with small film against our big films. Then I questioned Dil Raju, and he said that his film is a good content film and the audience will see it despite competing with big films. Like he said, the film was a success along with our films. Dil Raju has a lot of experience in the film industry. He knows how many theatres to give to which film in which season. So don’t be afraid of not finding theatres. If not on the first day, you will see Hanuman the next day.”
