On January 12th, 2024, Captain Miller, Dhanush’s highly anticipated movie, will be released in theaters. Arun Matheswaran, a talented director, directs this action-packed film that takes place during the British Indian Empire.

In an interview with the media, the director revealed that the film is being planned to be a trilogy. Captain Miller will be the second installment of the series, with plans for both a prequel and a sequel. Dhanush fans and the Kollywood audiences are delighted with this news.

Arun pointed out that the success of the current film is crucial for the future of the prequel and sequel films. The director shared in the interview that the film had a total schedule of 120 days, with the action shoot taking up to 75 days.

Furthermore, Dilip Subbarayan, the action choreographer, has produced a massive action sequence with 1000 individuals, which is anticipated to be a significant highlight. Moreover, Siddhartha Nuni, the film’s DOP, has cleverly utilized an average of 5% artificial lighting, primarily emphasizing natural lighting for the remaining part of the film.

Captain Miller Cast and Crew

Priyanka Arul Mohan, Shiva Rajkumar, Sundeep Kishan, John Kokken, Edward Sonnenblick, and many other actors play crucial roles in the film’s ensemble cast. Siddhartha Nuni and Nagooran Ramachandran handled cinematography and editing in the movie, with GV Prakash Kumar taking care of the music.

The movie will be released during Pongal and face off against Siva Karthikeyan’s Ayalaan on January 12, 2024. The Telugu version will be released on 26th January.
