Premalu (Telugu) Set For World Television Premiere!

Premalu is a light-hearted romantic comedy starring Mamitha Baiju and Naslen in lead roles. Following its success in Malayalam, it was dubbed and released in Telugu under the same title. Unexpectedly, the Telugu version too performed well at the box office.

Post its theatrical run, it had had a grand digital premiere on Aha; here too, it earned record viewership. And now, Premalu is all set to entertain audiences on the small screens. As the title says, this Mollywood flick will premiere at 5:30 PM on August 18th on Zee Telugu.

Considering its successful theatrical run, the stakes are set high for this television premiere. Premalu narrates the tale of a Sachin, a young man who comes to Hyderabad in search of a living. Things take a turn when he meets Reenu, a beautiful software employee. Vishnu Vijay has composed the film’s music.

Dhanush’s Raayan OTT Details Out!

Raayan is a Tamil-language action drama film starring Dhanush in the lead role. To celebrate his 50th feature film appearance, the VIP star chose to write and direct the project himself. Sun Pictures bankrolled this venture, while A. R. Rahman composed the background score and songs. 

Releasing amidst good expectations, it received a good response from audiences and was off to a thunderous start at the box office. Surprisingly, Raayan performed exceedingly well in its second week as well, thus minting a total of INR 150 crores worldwide. 

Raayan will reportedly arrive on Amazon Prime Video on August 30, 2024. However, an official announcement from the American streaming giant is yet to be made. The film also features Sandeep Kishan and S. J. Suryah in supporting roles.

Director Harish Shankar current film, Mr. Bachchan is gearing up for release on August 15th. The film’s formalities have been finished and all songs and trailer were also released. Mr. Bachchan’s all 4 songs have become good hits till now and they worked big on YouTube as well. The latest song, Nallanchu Tellacheera took the hype even further with it’s high-vocal and thumpy composition.

The film is also facing a stiff competition from Double Ismart starring Ram and directed by Puri Jagannadh. Double Ismart is also carrying a big hype due to prequel effect of Ismart Shankar. Stree 2 breaks Fighter and Kalki 2898 AD

Stree 2 starring Shraddha Kapoor and Raj Kumar Rao is slated for worldwide release on August 15th. Ahead of two days of it’s release, in the Advance bookings, Stree 2 has broken the final advance bookings of Fighter and Kalki 2898 AD. It also became the top 1 advance booked film of this year. This is an amazing response for the film. The popularity of Stree indicates the level of advance bookings for the film.

Kalki 2898 AD secured 125K advance bookings in national chains for the opening day. Whereas Fighter had 145K advance bookings. Stree 2 has already crossed 175K advance booking in national chains for the opening day and the film’s team is also screening the premieres from Tomorrow’s night. The premieres have already contributed to more than 45K tickets which will also be included in the opening day collections.

Stree 2 is all set for the biggest opener of this year by a huge margin. It’s also heading towards one of the biggest openers of Hindi Cinema. Stree 2 will also help Bollywood score a good hit which is suffering with poor performances by recent films at the box office. So, let’s wait for August 15th and see what wonders Stree 2 would do.

Priyadarshi’s most recent film, Darling, co-starring Nabha Natesh, opened in theaters on July 19, 2024. Priyadarshi portrays in the romantic comedy-drama as Raghav, a young guy who works at a travel agency and dreams of marrying and honeymooning in Paris. He marries Anandhi, played by Nabha Natesh, who has multiple personality disorder, setting off a series of hilarious and dramatic incidents.
Darling earned unfavorable reviews upon its release in theaters and failed to perform well at the box office. Director Aswin Ram attempted to turn ‘Darling’ into a quirky comedy, but its nonsensical plot and unlikeable characters made it difficult to enjoy. The story’s perplexity stems from its endeavor to be a diverse collection of ideas. Perhaps these negative reviews spurred the OTT streaming giant to accelerate the film’s digital distribution.


With Darling now available on OTT, the love drama joins the ranks of Telugu films that have made their digital debut within three weeks of theatrical release.Darling will be available to stream on Disney Plus Hotstar beginning August 13, 2024. Prabhas Kalki 2898 AD Telugu OTT streaming details

The much-awaited science fiction film Kalki 2898 AD, starring Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, and Kamal Haasan, is all set to release on OTT. Kalki 2898 AD will be available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video on August 23rd, 2024, after its release in theaters on May 9th. The film will stream on Amazon prime in all south languages. Kalki hindi online streaming rights were obtained by Netflix.

Kalki 2898 AD, directed by Nag Aswin, is set in a dystopian future six thousand years after the Kurukshetra War of the Mahabharata. It tells the narrative of Kasi, the final city on Earth in 2898 AD, under a totalitarian rule commanded by Supreme Yaskin, who claims to be god.

In this bleak world where ordinary people strive against overwhelming difficulties to survive, the light at the end of the tunnel appears when Kalki, the tenth avatar of God, Lord Vishnu, reportedly arrives to bring the Kali Yuga to an end.

This outstanding film has swept the global box office by storm, earning more than Rs. 1100 crore. Kalki has captivated audiences across the world with its unique blend of mythology and future storytelling. According to speculation, Kalki 2898 AD may receive a shortened version for its OTT debut. According to reports, the filmmakers have yet to confirm whether or not approximately 6 minutes of footage will be cut from the theatrical version.

Kalki 2 Delayed – Prabhas’ Fans Upset!

Nag Ashwin’s sci-fi epic Kalki 2898 AD was a blockbuster at the box office. Despite receiving mixed reviews, it performed well commercially, grossing INR 1000 crore worldwide. Considering this, fans expected the second installment in the franchise to commence production soon.

Puri Gets Emotional About Liger’s Failure!

Puri Jagannadh’s next release will be an outright commercial potboiler film called ‘Double Ismart’. A spiritual sequel to Ismart Shankar (2019), it features Ram Pothineni, Kavya Thapar, and Sanjay Dutt in lead roles. It is slated for a grand release this Independence Day.

As a part of promotions, a pre-release event was held in Hyderabad; all the film’s main cast and crew graced the function. Addressing the crowd, Puri Jagnnadh thanked all the people involved in making this film happen. After that, he narrated a small conversation that took place between him and writer Vijayendra Prasad post the failure of Liger (2022).

Calling it a surprise call, Puri stated that he was asked to narrate the script of his next venture to the legendary writer so he could provide some inputs to better it. However, moved by his affection, Puri went on to write and direct Double Ismart with utmost sincerity and discipline.

He concluded by saying that a lot of hard work was put into making this film, and only a blockbuster response would compensate that. Vijayendra Prasad, on multiple occasions, has stated that he is a deep admirer of Puri’s prowess in penning compelling stories in quick durations.

Raayan Gross 150 crores: An All Time Record for Dhanush

Raayan starring Dhanush performed stunningly at the box office. The film saw a good first weekend by grossing nearly 70 crores worldwide. The film posted excellent occupancies in both second and third weekends. It is all set to touch the 150 crores gross mark worldwide which is phenomenal. Raayan has grossed nearly 75 crores gross in Tamil Nadu, 25 crores from Telugu States and Rest of India. Raayan grossing 150 crores is now an all time record for Dhanush.

In the overseas market, Raayan has collected $5Million. This is also the first Tier 2 film from Kollywood to collect 150 crores gross worldwide. No one expected Raayan to perform this big. The trailer and songs looked just okayish. But everything changed after the film’s release. Action scenes and Music composed by A.R. Rahman have helped the film greatly. The film even trended many days solely for these reasons.

Raayan will also be a special film for Dhanush as he also acted as the director for the film. He looks to cash in on the success of Raayan for his upcoming film, Kubera co-starring Nagarjuna. Kubera is directed by Sekhar Kammula and is currently under shoot. Dhanush is also working on the Ilaiyaraaja Biopic film.
