Final Verdict: A very boring Raid!!

10:05PM IST: Mr. Bachchan completely loses it in the second half. The entire raid was very boring, with no strong conflicts or interesting scenes. The filler scenes with Chammak Chandra and other family members are unbearable

NTR suffers a minor injury

Tollywood Actor, NTR is currently busy shooting for his film, Devara. The Actor has suffered a minor injury in the sets of Devara. An official statement regarding this has already been released. It stated that the Actor sustained a minor sprain to the left wrist a couple of days before while working out in the gym. So, this is a cause of concern for the fans now.

But it is also learned that the injury was a minor one and there was nothing to worry for the fans and audience. NTR even actively participated in the shoot portion of Devara after this injury. But he will take rest for a few days more and then start shooting for the remaining portion.

Devara shoot is also on the last note. Two songs from the film have already been released and they made big noise with the audience. Recently released, Chuttamalle became an instant chartbuster by clocking more than 33 Million Views in 24 Hours. The song has already crossed 60 Million Views as of now. Devara is currently scheduled for release on September 27th worldwide. Apart from this, NTR has already started War 2 and NTRNeel recently. War 2 will release in 2025 and NTRNeel is preparing for Sankranthi 2026.

The film has managed to turn the negativity and trolls that ‘Spark’ song attracted with just a few posters and now there’s a huge craze about the movie amongst trade circles. The trailer of The Greatest of All Time is expected to be released sometime later this week. Venkat Prabhu and team are extremely confident about the film and even Vijay is reportedly happy with the output.

Venkat Prabhu has stated that The GOAT will be a kind of farewell to Vijay Sir’s cinematic journey. “I’ve done everything possible to ensure people are happy with Vijay sir in the film,” said the director. He further added that Vijay truly enjoyed the film and showed more enthusiasm for it than for any other.

Thangalaan set for Record opening

Thangalaan starring Vikram is set for release tomorrow. The film has created good buzz not only in Tamil but also in Telugu Language. The promotional content of the film especially the visuals have worked very well. Advance bookings have already opened and they are very promising. Advance bookings of the the film are even better than Raayan. Thangalaan with all these advantages is set for a record opening tomorrow.

Vikram’s earlier film, Cobra grossed around 12 crores on the opening day. This was a record for Vikram in Tamil Nadu. Indian 2: 300 Cr Over Budget

Shankar’s Indian 2 has been a colossal disaster at the box office. As if theatrical failure was not enough, the film has faced endless trolls since its release on Netflix. Indian 2 has been facing one hurdle after another right from the day it was announced.

At first, Lyca Productions which produced the film took Shankar to court over his non-compliance with the project. The legal troubles for Shankar started when Lyca accused that Shankar for being non-commital towards the project. The makers demanded a restraining order on Shankar from working on any other project till Indian 2 was completed.

Once these legal issues were sorted, the film’s budget became another major concern. Indian 2 was planned as a single film with 235 Cr budget. Shankar failed to complete the film within the planned budget.

Due to budget and legal issues, the Kamal Haasan starter came to a halt and Shankar switched to Game Changer. After the blockbuster success of Vikram, Indian 2 was back to the sets with Rs 150 Cr additional budget. Surprisingly, the team failed to complete the film even in this budget and the film was finally divided into 2 parts with the budget crossing Rs 500 crores.

Eventually, Indian 2 ended up as a massive disaster and was wiped out of theatres in a matter of days. This is a lesson on project planning and staying within the budget. Such incidents will continue to happen when the directors go beyond the stipulated budgets.

However, the film’s digital premiere remains a mystery. Amidst this scenario, a rumor regarding its OTT release has been doing the rounds on the internet. According to it, Kalki 2898 AD will arrive on Amazon Prime Video on August 23, 2024.
