Fans demand the uncut version of Guntur Kaaram on Netflix.  Usually, most movies release extended or deleted scenes on YouTube or OTT platforms. Guntur Kaaram, the latest Sankranthi release of Mahesh Babu is now experiencing the same thing. Fans demand the uncut version of Guntur Kaaram on Netflix.  

Somehow Guntur Kaaram movie’s post-production works were not done properly and lack of required time might be one of the reasons. In the film, some scenes had abrupt editing and non-sync Dialogues. 

The fans of Mahesh Babu are now demanding the makers of the film to correct all these things put on in the OTT version. Also, many stills and shots from the film which were released as promotional content went completely missing in the film. The fans are now demanding the producers on social media to release the uncut version of the film on Netflix. 

It is widely known that the movie, Guntur Kaaram’s digital rights, have been bought by Netflix, and it is expected to be released on OTT in the second week of February, as the film has almost ended its run at the box office. We need to wait and see whether the team will release the same theatrical version or it will do some corrections and put an extended version.

With the confidence in the film’s content, the buyers have opened the limited number of paid premiers for the film from tonight in Hyderabad and Vizag. For Sankranthi this year, there were as many as 6 releases. Vijay Deverakonda’s Family Star moved out first; later, other producers convinced Ravi Teja’s Eagle producers to postpone their film from Sankranthi race. For doing so, the film Chamber promised Eagle producers a solo release and they talked to DJ Tillu’s producer who later pushed their date.

The chamber later requested the Yatra2 team to postpone to give Eagle a solo release but they said it was not possible as it is not a regular film. It is a political film that has to be released on a specific date. Eagle producers also agreed with this and did not have a problem with this. The main problem arose with the release of Ooru Peru Bharivakona. The makers of this film were not contacted at all as many forgot about its release on 9th February.

Ooru Peru Bharivakona starring Sandeep Kishan and Varsha Bollamma has created a very good craze with songs and trailers and definitely, and will be a threat to Eagle. Now Eagle makers are demanding a solo release as promised to the film chamber and the Ooru Peru Bhairvakona team is not at all ready to postpone the film.

The film chamber is planning a meeting with producers and we need to see what will be the outcome. Apart from this, Rajinikanth’s dub film Lal Salaam is also releasing and Chamber can’t postpone it as it is a multi-lingual release.

Both are heavy budget films. Hrithik’s Fighter opens with unanimous positive reviews from both critics and audiences. Director Siddharth Anand succeeded again in another action genre after Pathaan.

The positive response will be a big boost for Fighter as the movie’s advances are very ordinary and because of this positive WOM the film is likely to jump big from this evening shows and will have a good long weekend. It’s interesting to note that the film’s WOM is better than Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan.

Mohanlal’s Malaikottai Vaaliban was made as a heavy budget film. The makers have even announced a 2nd part already. The film saw good advance bookings over 4Cr+ in Kerala. However, the early shows for the film have opened with ordinary to average reviews and WOM from audiences. The majority of audiences feel like the movie is very slow and flat.

Now we need to wait and see how this film will work at the box office with ordinary reviews and word of mouth. Malaikottai Vaaliban was directed by Lijo Jose Peliserry.

Fighter Movie Review: A Well-Made Aerial Action Drama

Fighter, Starring Hrithik Roshan, Anil Kapoor, and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles, has made it to the theaters today. The film is the first ever Aerial Action Thriller to be made in Indian Cinema, and though the film was made with a good star cast and crew, it failed to gather the required craze through its advance bookings. Fight turns out to be a well-made Aerial Action Drama.

Story: The Indian Air Headquarters established a new elite unit, Air Dragons, in response to rising militant activity in the Srinagar Valley. The plot revolves around the individuals in these Air Dragons named Shamsher Pathania Aka Patty (Hrithik Roshan), Minal Rathore Aka Minny (Deepika Padukone) and others. The team is led by Rakesh Jai Singh Aka Rocky (Anil Kapoor). Will the team be able to win over the terrorist group? What obstacles does the team face during the mission? Answers to these questions form the rest of the story.

Performances: Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone looked good as a pair and performed very well. Anil Kapoor was perfect while Karan Singh Grover, Akshay Oberoi and others were.

Fighter First Half Review:

The film starts with the terrorist group planning a big attack on India. Then follows the introduction of the main characters of the Indian Air Force. The initial scenes between Hrithik, Deepika and team were entertaining. The training scenes came good, with an emotional conflict between Patty and Rocky. The Operation Bandar episode was good and provided required high. The interval sequence is emotional and sets a nice lead for the second half.

Fighter Second Half Review:

The second half is more of emotional angle as the narrative tried to show how the family life of Air force officers gets affected by their actions. The love track between Patty and Minni worked well, and family scenes also out well. The pre climax also raised the anticipation and the climax episode came perfectly well with emotions and action elements.

Fighter Movie Review and Verdict:

Fighter is a well-made Aerial Action Drama that has nicely done flying/action sequences along with the right emotional impact and apt performances. A few regular traits of India/Pakistan conflict and songs work as minus points for the film.

After RRR, Ram Charan promised continuous film releases to his fans. He was next seen in Acharya immediately after RRR but the film was a massive box-office failure and was not a complete Ram Charan film. After this, fans were excited because Charan was next working with Shankar on Game Changer. But due to many reasons, there haven’t been any major or continuous updates from Game changer. So far, even Charan’s first look teaser has not been released.

The Mega Power Star is stuck with Game Changer only and did not move to another project. But, with his birthday coming up on 27th March, there is finally some good news for the fans. It is widely speculated that there will be a double bonanza for the fans out of which one will be from Game Changer team and the other will be from Buchi Babu film.

Team Game Changer is planning a glimpse release while the makers of Buchi Babu’s film are aiming for a title and the first-look release. Buchi Babu’s project is likely to go on set this summer. Game Changer is in the final stages of shooting and might be wrapped up by March. Dil Raju has planned for Game Changer release in September this year.

Meanwhile, Buchi Babu is super confident about this film. While speaking about the project with Charan some time back, he said, “It is going to be a sure-shot blockbuster; it’s my favorite subject. I’ve been working on it for 4 years, allowing me ample time for its development.”

Mostly, this weekend will be the last for the film’s run. The film has collected close to 113Cr share worldwide, which is including GST in Andhra and Nizam until now. The film is likely to be closed around 115Cr, which depends on this weekend’s box office performance.

The movie’s theatrical rights are valued at 130Cr, and it is likely ended up with average — above status. Guntur Kaaram gave a mixed result for buyers as the movie worked well for a few of them as they achieved break even and other few buyers ended up with loss. Guntur Kaaram is struggling and in the final stages of its box office run.

The team did not do any promotions, be it pre-release or post release, and the content was differently promoted before the release like a Mass film. All these elements affected badly for the film. If the team had prepared the audience for a family entertainer with good promotions, then the movie would have collected much more.
