Fighter advance bookings have put Bollywood in shock. It is widely known that Hrithik Roshan’s latest film Fighter is all set to be released in theaters worldwide on January 25th, i.e., tomorrow. The trade circles and the Hindi industry insiders expected the film to open big at the box office. Fighter advance bookings have put Bollywood in shock.

The director of the film, Fighter is Siddharth Anand who has delivered the biggest blockbuster last year with Pathaan. Also, the lead role is Hrithik Roshan who is regarded as a huge action star and the lead actress is Deepika Padukone who is also a big star and supporting cast is huge with the likes of Anil Kapoor.

The movie is made as a heavy action film with big chase sequences. So if we put together all this elements, anyone will expect the film to open with huge numbers at the box office. Bollywood’s trade expected 40Cr+ start for the film on opening day and on Day 2, they anticipated a record number for a single day as it is a national public holiday.

But now looking at the advances for Fighter, the opening number prediction has gone down to lesser than 20Cr which is a big shock to everyone. The advance bookings in national multiplexes have not crossed 1L which is very low, and the movie is getting released tomorrow. Fighter’s success is also very crucial for the buzz of Hrithik’s next big film, War 2 which also has NTR as the second lead.

The overseas advance bookings are also not good, and low. The film requires a big talk to turn the audiences towards the theaters. If it gets mixed talk, then the film will not work for such a low buzz.
