Nagarjuna continues to achieve Success for Sankranthi, but the numbers are decreasing for his films. It is widely known in 2016, Soggade Chinni Nayana was released for Sankranthi and became a massive blockbuster with around 50Cr Share. The movie saw unbelievable returns for all buyers and huge overflows, and it still stands as the career biggest for Nagarjuna.

After 6 years, in 2022 he again arrived for Sankranthi with Bangarraju which was a multi starrer film as Nag was seen alongside Nagarjuna. With no other notable films being released in competition, the movie did good numbers at the box office, but it did not go near the numbers of Soggade Chinni Nayana. The film ended up its run with 36Cr Share worldwide.

This year he released Naa Saami Ranga for Sankranthi, and this movie is likely to get closed around 20Cr share, which is even lesser than Bangarraju. Nagarjuna continues to achieve Success for Sankranthi, but the numbers are decreasing for his films.

Akkineni Nagarjuna is getting success whenever he releases a film for Sankranthi, but the concern is the box office numbers are continuously getting declined with each film. So it would be better to concentrate on the overall content rather than making and releasing the films just for Sankranthi festival.
