Moreover, he was offered a big project from Bollywood, War 2, alongside Hrithik Roshan and everyone thought it as the biggest Indian film as all the films in YRF Spy Universe worked so big. KGF Series fame Prashanth Neel movie also announced a film with NTR, and it was supposed to go on sets from April 2024

However, within the last few months, everything has been changed as now Devara is getting postponed from the announced release date. Salman Khan’s Tiger 3 and now Hrithik’s Fighter, both the films’ results have seem biggest setbacks at the box office, which will highly impact the hype of War 2. Also, Salaar’s Sequel comes in between NTR and Prashanth Neel’s film.

This is such a crucial phase for NTR as he just released one film in the past 5 Years, RRR. He needs to deliver massive projects and huge numbers after such a gap, but things are not working well for him at this moment.

Prabhas’ upcoming film Raja Saab has managed to create quite some curiosity among film lovers ever since the title announcement poster was released a few days ago. The colourful backdrop and Prabhas’ mass look are a great change from his recent pan-India big-budget films and everyone is keen to see how Maruthi will show Prabhas in this film.

Raja Saab is of the horror genre and the makers had initially planned to shoot the film at a quick pace to accommodate other pan-India biggies such as Adipurush, Salaar, and Kalki. The film’s first schedule started in 2022 October and shockingly the movie is still on set and a lot of shoot parts are pending.

The film has mostly no chance to release this year also as this year Prabhas has to release Kalki first. If Kalki comes on May 9th as planned then Raja Saab has a chance to come at Dasara. But if Kalki is postponed which is a possibility with VFX-loaded pan-India films, then Raja Saab has to move next year.

The film is continuously on set and a lot of reshoots have reportedly happened. Still, half of the shoot is said to be pending which is shocking. Even Prabhas’ big-budget films also not take this much time. Recently the team released the first look and title for Sankranthi and got a good response. Today Maruthi in an interaction clarified that he won’t be able to confirm any one release date right now.

Dil Raju’s Sri Venkateshwara Creations has taken over the theatrical distribution rights for Saripodhaa Sanivaaram. The film will be distributed in all areas of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh by the veteran distributor.

The production of Saripodhaa Sanivaaram is handled by DVV Entertainment. The female lead is played by Priyanka Arul Mohan. SJ Suryah is the one who will portray the villain.

Criminal Case initiated against Koratala Siva for Srimanthudu

A Criminal Case has been initiated against Koratala Siva for Srimanthudu. In a shocking turn of events, Director Koratala Siva got involved in legal complications after a case was filed against his film Srimanthudu in the Supreme Court.

Sarath Chandra, a writer, has filed a petition in the Nampally court claiming that Koratala used his story from Swathi magazine to make the film Srimanthudu. The Nampally court subsequently instructed to file criminal charges against Koratala. Koratala approached the Telangana High Court due to this.

Following the examination of Sarath Chandra’s evidence and the Writers Association’s report, the Telangana High Court rendered the same verdict as the Nampally court. A Criminal Case has been initiated against Koratala Siva for Srimanthudu.

Koratala eventually reached out to the Supreme Court to get out of the problem. The magistrate listened to his petition. The bench decided that Koratala should be charged as per the local courts’ directives, after an examination.

It is widely known that Director Koratala Siva is currently working on pan-Indian action drama Devara with NTR. This shocking news of court case against Janatha Garage filmmaker has made Tarak fans worry about the progress of their favorite hero’s big film, Devara.

A case has been registered against the Daggubati family, which includes Venkatesh, Suresh Babu, Rana, and Abhiram. Following the directions of the Nampally Council, a petition has been filed by K. Nanda Kumar, the man who owns Deccan Kitechen, a famous restaurant in Filmnagar, Hyderabad.

According to sources, the issue revolves around the illegal demolition of a building on land owned by Daggubati Venkatesh. Mr. Nanda Kumar accuses the Daggubati family of knocking down the building, which is against the court’s order, and robbing its furniture worth crores of rupees. This led him to take legal action against them by lodging a criminal case under Sections 448, 452, 506, and 120B of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). This has landed the esteemed family in serious legal trouble. It’s interesting to see how the story unfolds over time.

On the work front, the veteran actor has faced continuous setbacks lately. His recent theatrical release, Saindhav, bombed at the box office very badly. Back in March 2023, he made his OTT debut by starring alongside his nephew Rana Daggubati in the Netflix crime drama Rana Naidu, which attracted enormous criticism for its vulgarity and sexual content. Hanuman shatters KGF numbers in Hindi Markets. This Indian superhero flick, directed by Prashanth Varma and starring Teja Sajja, has been massively successful at the box office. Since it was released in theaters on January 12, the movie has already exceeded the Rs 250 crore mark in worldwide box office collections. The Hindi version of the film has now made Rs 44.44 crore.

Captain Miller’s Telugu version is a big failure. Dhanush’s latest periodic action drama, Captain Miller did decent numbers in Tamil, but Ayalaan emerged as Pongal winner with gathering more collections than Captain Miller. The film was expected to get a decent performance in Telugu states. Captain Miller’s Telugu version is a big failure.

As the movie had runtime issues, the Telugu Distributors have trimmed the runtime and made it a bit crispy. The movie was released on 26th January in Telugu states and at the same time Ayalaan was also planned to be released, but it was postponed due to financial issues. Dhanush’s film also had Paid Premieres and the response was positive.

So, the trade circles expected the film to get decent numbers at the box office, which did not happen. On opening day with Republic Day Holiday advantage, it opened decently with 1Cr+ Gross collection, but Captain Miller failed to impress the audiences and crashed completely on Day 2 and did not pick up on Sunday.

The buyers will struggle to get the rents itself in Telugu states now, which makes the Telugu version of Captain Miller a big failure. The closing shares will be very minimal.
