Trivikram’s Wish: Full Creative Freedom in Future Films

Trivikram is said to be deeply hurt by recent events that unfolded during his films. The problem with our heroes especially big stars is before committing to the film they say no objections but after committing the film multiple objections are coming which is resulting multiple changes to the script and screenplay. Few films are even getting canceled after official announcements due to these creative issues. 

Trivikram has also been facing this issue recently and he has stated that he wants to work where he can have full creative freedom. His only wish is that no one should not interfere in the script of the screenplay after committing the film.

This was the main reason he wanted to work with Pawan Kalyan next as he has complete freedom with Pawan Kalyan who blindly believes him. But with Pawan Kalyan being busy in politics and some committed films already, he wants to do a film with medium budget hero as they will not interfere in anything.

Most probably this film is expected to be with Ram as Sravanthi Ravi Kishore had given Trivikram his first chance with Nuvve Nuvve. Ram has also not committed to any film after Double Ismart and he will be available from March end so the movie can start immediately.

Buchi Babu Sana delivered a huge blockbuster on debut itself and after that, he spent a lot of time on a big-budget script and narrated it to NTR. NTR too liked the script and showed interest in collaborating with Buchi Babu and because of this, the director stayed alongside Tarak for script tweaks and changes.

But with Prashant Neel’s film committed as well, NTR felt the film with Buchi Babu would take much more time as he did not want to miss Prashant Neel’s film. He expressed the same to Buchi Babu and this script later went to Ram Charan who also okayed it immediately and an official announcement was also made. The talk in the industry is that this script has come out very well. The film is set to go on sets this April.

Now the twist is that Prashant Neel’s film with Tarak has been postponed due to the Salaar sequel. Had this happened earlier, NTR could have easily accommodated Buchi Babu’s film as Devara’s shooting would be completed in April. He could have worked parallelly for War 2 and Buchi Babu’s film as War 2 needs fewer dates of him.

But the moment has passed and even though NTR liked the script very much and has the space to do that film but can not get things back. Putting Buchi Babu aside for Prashanth Neel misfired badly. But Tarak can’t be blamed entirely as nobody expected these last-minute changes.

How can anyone forget Mohan Babu? The veteran actor, who was once dubbed ‘Collection King’ for his potential in drawing crowds to theatres, has now become the only star to collect zero share (quite literally). His last theatrical release, Son of India (2022), was an ultra-disastrous outing at the box office. Mohan Babu is a classic case of an actor ruining his career to its fullest. All of this is now relevant because another verteran actor in the same film fraternity has been unknowingly headed in the same direction: Akkineni Nagarjuna.

Regarded as ‘Manmadhudu’ for his dashing looks, Nagarjuna has always had a strong inclination towards experimentation, particularly in choosing debutant directors. Though this style of script selection has yielded classics like Shiva (1990) in the beginning of his career, it has now pulled him to the lowest point in his career. Its no surprise that Nag has the smallest market among the Big 4 (with others being Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, and Venkatesh).

Things got so worse that he had to come up with a rural drama, the only genre that worked for him lately, that too a remake, during the biggest season of films, Sankranti, so he could score a ‘hit’, and save his career. Though the film Naa Saami Ranga (2024) was a safe venture for buyers in Telugu states, it is a complete washout in overseas territories, which couldn’t even recover 50% of the investment, even with positive talk. The film’s pre-release business was valued at just 15 crore INR, which is less than or just on par with any of the industry’s tier-2 heroes. The day-wise numbers reveal that the movie relied solely on the festival weekend and has completely crashed on weekdays. This is a deeply saddening revelation for an actor of Nag’s stature.

It should be noted that Nag has had a strong fan following among the masses, particularly among women, till late 2000s. Though it may seem too late, ‘The King’ can still make a comeback into the array of mainstream commercial films. We hope he does!

On February 2, Poonam Pandey was reported to be dead of cervical cancer by her manager. After fooling millions across the globe, she revealed herself to be alive via her social media accounts today. She went on to say that it was merely a choreographed public stunt with the aim of raising awareness about cervical cancer, the disease we all thought she died of.

In a video message she had shared, she was seen talking about the disease, which, unlike other cancers, is entirely preventable. She also added that every year, thousands of Indian women fall prey to this disease. Statistics say that India records the highest number of cervical cancer cases in Asia, and the sad part is that one in every five of those women breathes their last. While some netizens commend her for raising awareness about the fatal disease, the majority of them seem to be pissed off by the 32-year-old actress’s act. The media, on the other hand, has unanimously labelled it ‘an attention-seeking act’ or ‘cheap stunt’.

Anyone aware of her history would know that her life has always been full of controversies. Pandey rose to fame when she promised to strip for the Indian cricket team if they triumphed at the 2011 World Cup. After India’s victory, she claimed to have been denied permission by the BCCI. In 2012, she posed naked, celebrating the victory of the Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL final. She broke the internet by leaking a sex tape of herself in which she was seen to be with her boyfriend.

Tollywood Heroes recent releases box office status

The last few years have been quite special for Tollywood with all a-listers entering pan-India movies with their films. Pawan Kalyan with OG and Mahesh Babu with Rajamouli film will be making the pan-India entry as well. Allu Arjun with Pushpa and NTR and Ram Charan with RRR have already entered the pan-India market while Prabhas has been doing jus pan-India films since Baahubali.

Prabhas vs Chiranjeevi clash seems to be confirmed now for Sankranti 2025. In today’s Eagle’s media interaction, producer Vishwa Prasad confirmed that we are looking for “The Raja Saab” to be released for Sankranti 2025.

After the disastrous result of Bhola Shankar, Chiranjeevi brings Vishwambhara on sets by canceling other committed projects. Chiranjeevi wants to deliver a big blockbuster, so he has already locked his favorite Sankranti date. The movie is announced for a January 10, 2025 release. Chiranjeevi aims to deliver a big blockbuster like Khaid No150 and Waltair Veerayya for Sankranti. Chiranjeevi recently joined the shooting set. 13 big sets were erected for the film, and the budget is said to be more than 200 crores

On the other hand, Prabhas is working on massive projects, which are on a large scale, and for these films, any release date works. The only film being made on a normal budget is “The Raja Saab,” directed by Maruthi. Fans want the film to be released at a big festival, and they hope it will be released on Sankranti 2025. Producer Vishwa Prasad himself confirmed that the movie has a chance to be released for Sankranti.

Producer Vishwa Prasad confirmed that a release update for “The Raja Saab” will be announced soon. An update on the film will also be released this month. Prabhas’s next release, “Kalki,” is slated for a May 9th release. After the release of “Kalki,” full-fledged updates and promotions will start for “The Raja Saab.”

Fighter Movie Faces Rejection Again in the Middle East

Hrithik Roshan’s Fighter was released over the Republic Day weekend amidst low buzz and decent reviews. The film couldn’t manage to create the kind of hype the makers would have expected and they hoped that the positive word of mouth could save the film. Unfortunately, the film failed to continue the momentum and crashed as the weekdays began.

Overseas, the film has performed comparatively better but the Middle Eastern territories continue to be a problem for the makers. The movie failed to clear the censors in the entire Middle East, UAE and Gulf countries and was not released in the region. The film showcases Pakistan in a negative light so the local governments and censor team stopped the release as it may hurt the Pakistani people’s sentiments living there.

The team has re-edited the film and applied for the censor. But there is no change in the result and the censor and government have rejected the film again. So it’s clear that there is no chance of the film getting released there.

Middle East has been one of the strongest territory for Bollywood and not releasing in this market has impacted the film’s business and numbers a lot. The movie has so far collected around 250Cr gross worldwide which is quite disappointing.

NTR Grants Clearance for Salaar Sequel

It is a known fact that Prashanth Neel has signed a project with NTR and fans of both Neel and Tarak are eager to see this combo play out on the big screen. Everyone expected the this massive project to go on floors once the Salaar and Devera shootings were done. However, the plans changed recently and it was revealed that the Salaar sequel will be shot before Neel moves onto the NTR film.

Prashant Neel recently met NTR at the latter’s home and briefed the Young Tiger on the current plans. Neel has assured NTR that the Salaar sequel will be ready by next year and then their project can start.

At the moment NTR is busy with a few commitments. On one hand, Devara shooting is getting delayed and he has already committed to War 2. Along with these, Devara 2 is also planned so NTR has given the clearance to Prashanth Neel for the Salaar sequel.
