Animal outshines Salaar on Netflix and achieves record viewership. It is widely known that within a week, the popular OTT platform Netflix released Prabhas’s Salaar: Part 1-The Ceasefire and Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal. On the OTT platform, these films have quickly gained a lot of attention. While it looked like Salaar was ruling the trend, Animal outshines Salaar on Netflix and achieves record viewership.
Before Animal was released on Netflix, Salaar had trended on No 1 position, and Animal takes that position. Now Salaar’s Telugu version moves to No 3, and it is trending on No 10 Tamil version while the Malayalam and Kannada versions could not make it to Top 10.
The views on Netflix until 28th January:
Animal — 20.8M hours [3 days and All languages], Total views 6.2M — A huge record

Animal outshines Salaar massively. Salaar did not get released in Hindi version which is also one of the reason for its numbers not nearing Animal movie but still the numbers of Ranbir Kapoor and Sandeep Reddy Vanga are mind-blowing.
