Premalu is a huge hit. The film was released on February 9th and has collected more than 80 crore gross till now. It is still running with very good numbers.

However, in order to reach the 100 crore mark, the film will undoubtedly require a reasonable number of Telugu viewers. If Telugu is collected in the range of 10 crore gross, then crossing the 100 crore milestone will be easy for them, or else they are likely to miss the 100 crore mark. Rajamouli’s son, Karthikeya, is releasing the film. The film is expected to work in big cities like Hyderabad, Vijayawada, and Vizag. In Hyderabad, the film is expected to post some good numbers. The movie is releasing on February 8th for Shivaratri weekend, and on the same day, Gaami and Bhimaa are also releasing in theaters. Only three films—Puli Murugan, Lucifer, and the 2018 movie—have crossed the 100 crore mark in Bollywood. The Manjummel Boys will easily join this club this week. For Premalu to join this club, Telugu version numbers are crucial.

Eagle 2: Sequel in High Demand

Eagle movie is planned to release on January 13 for Sankranti. But due to the many films coming for Sankranti, the production house made the costliest decision by stepping out of the Sankranti race and releasing them in the dry season of February.

The songs, trailer, and promotional content fail to create buzz for the film. The movie releases on February 9 and opens with mixed to decent reviews. A section of people like the film extraordinarily. Other sections felt that the climax was very good; the rest is flat. But everyone likes the five-minute climax sequence, which was the lead for the second part Eagle 2. The director presents Raviteja in his best avatar and expands the story to an international level.But as the film is not carrying much buzz and releases on dry season, the audiences did not turn out well in theaters. The film ended up being a failure at Box Office.

The movie started streaming on OTT platforms (ETV Win and Prime Video) on March 1st. The film is receiving a very big response from OTT audiences and is trending at the top. The audience liked the film and showed excitement for Eagle 2. Raviteja openly said that he was very impressed with the output of Part 1. He believes the director has a big future in industry. The production team also felt the release date costed the film.

So now definitely, people are interested in watching the sequel. Will makers take the risk and make the sequel that we have to see? As part one failed theatrically at the box office, it’s not easy to put a lot of money into part two. But definitely some time risks make wonders. Now it’s all up to the team, and they’re definitely in a dilemma about the sequel Eagle 2 in this situation.

Manjummel Boys Set to Be Tamil Nadu’s Biggest February Grosser This Year

Manjummel Boys is all set to be Tamil Nadu’s biggest February grosser this year. The film is in roit mode this weekend and suddenly piks huge momentum.

In the first extended week [8 days], the movie has collected close to 4 crore gross in Tamil Nadu. On the 9th day Friday, the movie takes a bigger jump with a 2 crore collection. On Saturday, the movie jumped to a peak with more than 4.75 crore. Today, on the 11th day, the film is heading towards more of the 5Cr Collection.

On the 2nd weekend, the film is collecting more than 12 crore gross in Tamil Nadu. The film is is not even dubbed in Tamil language , the Malayalam version does miracles. Tamil movies putting huge numbers in Kerala we have been seeing from many years. But for the first time A Malayalam film is putting bigger numbers in the Tamil industry. Definitely it will be a turning point for the Malayalam industry.

By today, the film Tamil Nadu gross is expected to be more than 16 crore. Lal Salaam, a box office disaster, is currently Tamil Nadu’s highest grosser in February, with around 20 crore collection. Manjummel Boys will cross these collections in the next 3 days, and the film is expected to join the 30 crore club in full run, and even 40 crore also depends on the hold.

By today, the film is expected to go in the range of 90 crore gross worldwide and is all set to become the 4th Malayalam film to collect 100 crore gross worldwide.

Google Removes Allu Aravind’s Aha Video

Aha Video, the first Telugu OTT streaming platform, launched Arha Media and Broadcasting Private Limited in 2020. The application received massive viewership in a short span, and in 2022, the Tamil app was launched.

Recently, rumors started about Allu Aravind’s plans to sell the platform. The discussions are said to have been initiated with Sony and some other companies. Despite high viewership, aha video is said to be unable to generate profits due to the high production costs and rights associated with movies and other content.Now, for the past 2–3 days, the users have been unable to download Aha videos as the Google Play Store removed the application from the Play Store. 

The issue is said to be a fee violation issue. Google is said to have increased the fee a few years ago. But some of the applications are said to have not made the payments according to Google policies, even though they provided enough time. With this, Google removes many apps from the Play Store. Aha is one of the applications in it.

The users have had a bad experience with the application for the past two to three days. The Aha video team said that we were sorting out the issues two days ago, but there was no resolution yet.

He showed Vijay like never before in Mersal, Theri, and Bigil and reinvented Shahrukh Khan’s on-screen image with Jawan. Manjummel Boys is on a sensational note in second weekend, especially in Tamil Nadu. The film registered a 4 crore box office collection on the 10th day in Tamil Nadu. Before this film, no Malayalam film even collected 4 crore gross in full run. Manjummel Boys has collected in just one day and sets a new benchmark. There was a heavy demand for the film. It started with around 50 shows in Tamil Nadu on opening day. Now the film is running in the range of 1000 shows.

On 10th day , the movie even posts bigger numbers in Tamil Nadu than Kerala. In Kerala, day 10 gross is expected to be in the range of 3Cr whereas Tamil.nadu gross is 4 Crore. Total all India gross on 10th day expected to be 8 crore and worldwide 12 crore.

With this, the film crossed 75 crore gross worldwide in 10 days. And Sunday is also expected to be very huge. The film is all set to cross 100 crore gross next week.

only Three films from Mollywood has crossed 100Cr gross mark till now Puli Murugan, Lucifer, 2018 Movie. Manjummel Boys will be the 4th film to join this club. Premalu movie has also chances to join this club. The film is closer to 80 Cr gross worldwide till now. The Telugu version releasing on 8th March, Telugu version numbers will decide the 100 Crore mark.

Operation Valentine: An Utter Disaster

Varun Tej is scoring bigger and bigger disasters with each experimental film. His last film Gandeevadhari Arjuna opened with around 2Cr gross and ended up as a total washout. Now, his latest film Operation Valentine has opened with even worse numbers than Gandeevadhari Arjuna.

The day 1 figures of this latest film are in the range of 1.8 Cr. And the film already washed out at the box office today with Day 2 numbers expected to be even worse. This is expected to be the closing share for the film too.

Operation Valentine’s closing share will be not even 4Cr. In fact, it is expected to close around Rs 3Cr which is truly a disastrous figure. The film was made on a 42Cr budget and it’s not even collecting 10% of the budget in theatrical share.

This is the biggest disaster of Varun Tej’s career. The Mega Hero promoted the film quite aggressively promoted the film in Telugu and as well as Hindi. However, the film’s content was just not enough to draw the audience to the theatres. The lack of buzz, poor reviews, and initial talk have all led to this disastrous result.

Varun Tej was seen as an IAF officer and took intense training for his character. Manushi Chhillar who played the leading lady was seen in the role of a radar officer. Navdeep and Ruhani Sharma are the other prominent cast. Shakti Pratap Singh Hada made his debut as a director with the movie produced by Sony Pictures International Productions.

Kaithi is the starting film of LCU, which has created a massive impact. Dhilli character is a cult character for occasions till today. Kaithi 2 has been planned immediately after Leo, but in the middle of Leo’s shooting, Lokesh Kanagaraj has signed for a film in the combination of Super Star Rajinikanth.

And it was not part of LCU like Khaidi, Vikram, or Leo. It is an independent film; currently, pre-production works are going on, and the shooting is expected to start in May or June. Rajinikanth is currently busy with Vettiyan shooting. Rajini is playing a sincere cop role again after Jailer.

Karthi, in a recent event, announced Dhilli will be back soon. The most-awaited Kaithi 2 shooting starts next year. Hanuman just completed 50 days of running successfully at the box office. Today in the 50-day Celebrations event, Director Prashant Varma revealed some of the details about the Jai Hanuman movie: “Jai Hanuman movie work has started; very soon we will release the first look poster for it.” He said.

“Hanuman will be the hero in this movie. As you liked the climax of Hanuman and as you liked the last five minutes, this Jai Hanuman movie will be more exciting than those last five minutes, but it will be two and a half hours long,” he said.

“So hopefully I’ll make you feel proud. I hope to make a great film. I will take responsibility for this success given by you and repay that gratitude and that debt with the Jai Hanuman movie. Thank you, Jai Sriram, Jai Hanuman, and Jai Hind. He ended his speech.

On the occasion of Prana Pratishta held in Ayodhya, Prashant Varma posted a picture on his Twitter account of Jai Hanuman’s script being completed. It was said in this event that the pre-production work is being done quickly.

It is known that the Hanuman team recently went to America as part of team success celebrations. Jai Hanuman has gotten a good response from there as well. So the Jai Hanuman movie is already having a good buzz and may also get good bookings and openings.

The result of the movie also depends on who plays Hanuman‘s character. In the movie Hanuman, only Hanuman’s eyes were shown. Many rumors spread that those eyes were Chiranjeevi’s, Ram Charan’s, and Rana Daggubati’s. But nothing has been clarified yet. So the team may reveal Lord Hanuman’s character as a first-look poster.
