Siddharth’s Next Is Titled ‘Miss You’

Tamil actor Siddharth will be next seen in Shankar’s vigilante thriller ‘Indian-2’. Starring ‘Ulaganayagan’ Kamal Hassan in the lead role, it is a sequel to Indian (1996). With music composed by Anirudh Ravichander, it is slated for a worldwide release in July this year.

Besides this, the actor has signed to play the lead role in a Tamil-language romantic drama film. Titled ‘Miss You’, it is helmed by N. Rajasekar. The makers have unveiled the first look of the film at the hands of Sivakarthikeyan and filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj.

Siddharth hasn’t starred in a romantic drama film in recent times, and this is the reason why this project carries a good buzz among fans. ‘7 Miles Per Second Productions’ is bankrolling this flick while Ghibran is composing the background score and songs.

Satyabhama (2024) is an investigative thriller film starring ‘Queen of Masses’ Kajal Agarwal in the titular lead role. Helmed by Suman Chikkala, it is scheduled for a grand release tomorrow alongside Sharwanand’s Manamey (2024).

As a part of promtions, premiere shows were held in Hyderabad, with the actress gracing the theatre to enjoy the cop drama with fans. The footfalls, followed by the audiences’ word-of-mouth, have come out to be super positive.

Having said that, Satyabhama is expected to post good opening numbers at the box office. With music composed by Sri Charan Pakalki, the film narrates the tale of a female cop who investigates a series of murders in town that uncovers a big conspiracy.

‘Mass Ka Das’ Vishwak Sen was last seen in Gangs of Godavari (2024), an action drama film directed by Krishna Chaitanya. The film carried a good buzz for multiple reasons and expectedly posted good opening numbers.

But just like the actor’s previous ventures, Gaami (2024) and Das Ka Dhamki (2023), the film underperformed from its first Monday. While it is understandable that the response has been mixed for these flicks, this scenario repeating for every release of Vishwak Sen sends warning bells to the actor.

It’s high time the actor started focusing on script selection to improve his box-office potential so that his films will have a long run. Bankrolled by Sithara Entertainments, Gangs of Godavari features Neha Shetty and Anjali as the female leads. Yuvan Shankar Raja composed the film’s tunes.

Another ‘Thalapathy’ Vijay Film Re-Releasing Soon!

‘Thalapathy’ Vijay will turn fifty in a couple of weeks and the celebrations are being planned on a grand scale. As a part of it, A. R. Murugadoss’s blockbuster film Thuppakki (2012) is heading for a grand re-release on 21st June, 2024.

Starring Kajal Agarwal as the female lead, this action thriller was a massive commercial success and gained cult following over the years. The film was dubbed and released in Telugu as ‘Thupaki’ and fared well at the box-office.

Shree Karpaga Vinyaga Film Circuits is backing this re-release across Tamilnadu. ‘Thalapathy’ Vijay will be next seen in Venkat Prabhu’s sc-fi project ‘The Greatest Of All TIme’. It also stars Meenakshi Choudhary, Malavika Sharma, Raghava Lawrence and Prashanth in supporting roles.

Gangs Of Godavari OTT streaming date and details

Vishwak Sen and Neha Shetty starrer Gangs of Godavari was released last week to mixed reviews and word of mouth. Despite the mixed talk, the film did a strong business at the box office. The film also stars Anjali, Nasser, Sai Kumar and Goparaju Ramana among others.

The film did more than 2/3 recovery on its release weekend but struggled on weekdays. The upcoming weekend which will be the film’s 2nd weekend is quite important for the film’s success. While the film is in its theatrical run, the details of its OTT release are out. Gangs of Godavari’s digital rights have been bought by Netflix. The film is likely to be streamed from 22nd June onwards.

Directed by Krishna Chaitanya, Gangs of Godavari is an action entertainer set amidst a rural backdrop and features Sai Kumar, Goparaju Ramana, Nasser, and Hyper Aadi among others. The film’s music has been composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja which managed to attract good buzz before release.

Kanchana-4 Officially Announced – Deets Inside

Raghava Lawrence was last seen in Chandramukhi-2 (2022), a horror comedy helmed by P. Vasu. His last directional venture was, however, Akshay Kumar’s Laxmii (2020), a Hindi remake of Kanchana (2011). He will be next seen in Venkat Prabhu’s ‘The Greatest of All Time’ starring ‘Thalapathy’ Vijay.

Besides this, a fourth installment in the Kanchana franchise is on the cards. This morning, an official announcement was made regarding the same. Titled ‘Kanchana-4’, it is bankrolled by Lawrence’s own Raghavendra Productions.

Though the cast of the project has not been announced yet, Lawrence is expected to star (as the lead actor) besides directing this horror-comedy flick. The announcement also states that Kanchana-4 will go on floors in September 2024. All the three films in this franchise have been successfull at the box-office so far.

Manamey Success Meet Will Be Held At Pitapuram – Sharwanand

Manamey is a comedy-drama film starring Sharwanand and Krithi Shetty in lead roles. Helmed by Sriram Aditya, it is bankrolled by T. G. Vishwa Prasad under ‘People Media Factory’. It is slated for a worldwide release on June 7, 2024.

As a part of the promotions, a pre-release event was held in Hyderabad yesterday, which featured Sai Dharam Tej, Shiva Nirvana, and Sai Rajesh alongside the film’s cast and crew. In his speech addressing the fans and media, Sharwanand congratulated Pawan Kalyan and Balakrishna for their recent success in elections.
