‘Thalapathy’ Vijay will turn fifty in a couple of weeks and the celebrations are being planned on a grand scale. As a part of it, A. R. Murugadoss’s blockbuster film Thuppakki (2012) is heading for a grand re-release on 21st June, 2024.
Starring Kajal Agarwal as the female lead, this action thriller was a massive commercial success and gained cult following over the years. The film was dubbed and released in Telugu as ‘Thupaki’ and fared well at the box-office.
Shree Karpaga Vinyaga Film Circuits is backing this re-release across Tamilnadu. ‘Thalapathy’ Vijay will be next seen in Venkat Prabhu’s sc-fi project ‘The Greatest Of All TIme’. It also stars Meenakshi Choudhary, Malavika Sharma, Raghava Lawrence and Prashanth in supporting roles.
