The re-release trend is looking to extend further to some other yesteryear blockbusters. After the stupendous success of Pokiri, Okkadu, Jalsa, and Kushi, now NTR’s action entertainer Simhadri is gearing up for a re-release. Earlier last year, NTR’s Aadi was released much to fans’ joy. As per reports, Simhadri will release on the occasion of NTR’s birthday on May 20th.
Simhadri, like other recent re-releases, will hit the screens in 4K and fans have placed high expectations on the success of this event. Simhadri’s re-release is planned in a very big way and NTR fans are expecting to break Kushi’s re-release day 1 record as NTR films have traditionally had a strong record when it comes to special screenings.
Released in 2003, Simhadri also featured Bhumika alongside the ‘Young Tiger’. Directed by SS Rajamouli, the film went on to become a massive blockbuster and established NTR as one of the top stars in Tollywood. Keeravani’s chartbuster music, Rajamouli’s pacy and intense narration, and NTR’s roaring performance have made this film a classic in the action genre in Tollywood.
