The fans have eagerly waited for him to give a strong comeback, and on the other side, his competitor Mammootty delivered continuous blockbusters and solid content films.
Finally, the wait ends for Mohanlal fans as the Drishyam combo strikes big again with the latest film, Neru. The film was released in theaters worldwide today. The court drama has been received exceptionally well, and word of mouth is positive despite facing a few legal issues.

Neru also stars Santhi, Jagadish, Ganesh Kumar, Nandu, Aditi Ravi, and Harikrishnan. Jeethu, who was last associated with Kooman, is working with cinematographer Satheesh Kurup, music director Vishnu Shyam, and editor VS Vinayak again.
Antony Perumbavoor produces the film under his Aashirvaad Cinemas banner. Mohanlal and Jeethu have collaborated on Drishyam, Drishyam 2, 12th Man, and Ram: Part 1, which has yet to be released.
