Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja’s Mirapakay to re-release in Theaters next week

The re-release trend in the Telugu Film Industry is looking to extend further to some other yesteryear blockbusters. Following the movement of superstar Heroes films, Mass Maharaja Raviteja’s Mirapakay is too making it on the list. The film will release on republic day Jan 26th which also is the birthday of Raviteja.

Mirapakay stars Ravi Teja in the lead role and Harish Shankar has directed this action entertainer. This film is the second in their combination, earlier Ravi Teja and Harish Shankar worked together for Shock. The film further stars Richa Gangopadhyay and Deeksha Seth in the female lead roles and the music is scored by Thaman S. Mirapakay movie’s songs were massive hit back then.

Mirapakay tells us the story of Rishi (Ravi Teja) a cop who is on a mission to hunt down Kittu Bai (Prakash Raj). In the line of duty, he is shifted to Hyderabad as an undercover cop and is placed as a Hindi professor in a college owned by Kittu’s henchman Shankar Anna (Kota Srinivasa Rao). In the college, he falls in love with a student Vinamra (Richa Gangopadhaya) and just as affection blooms, he is summoned by his boss and asked to romance Vaishali (Deeksha Seth) who is the daughter of Kittu bai. The rest of the story is about Rishi riding two romantic boats and roughing up, arresting the baddie Kittu.

Mirapakay was released in 2011 Sankranti season along with Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Parama Veera Chakra and Siddharth’s Anaganaga Oka Dheerudu and Sumanth’s Golconda High School. Raviteja’s film emerged as the winner among all the films.
