Leo becomes the 1st 100Cr share film in Tamil Nadu. The latest action thriller by Lokesh Kanagaraj. starring Vijay has achieved the unthinkable at the Kollywood Box Office. Despite getting mixed word of mouth, Leo has achieved the breakeven mark in all territories.
Lokesh Kanagaraj’s LCU brand and Thalapathy Vijay’s stardom have helped the film to get the collections required for breakeven for all buyers. The last territory of the film to achieve breakeven is Tamil Nadu. The TN rights were sold at 100Cr and now the film crosses 100Cr share in TN and becomes the 1st film to collect 100Cr share in Tamil Nadu.
In Tamil Nadu, Gross wise, Ponniyin Selvan still holds the record in but as in terms of share the stakes are high for big star films. That is why Jailer and now Leo have been able to cross Ponniyin Selvan film’s share in Tamil Nadu. Jailer did come close to the 100Cr share mark but missed getting it. Leo crosses this mark and becomes the first film for Kollywood.
