Mohanlal, who has given some of the finest content in the Malayalam cinema, is all set to collaborate with filmmaker Lijo Jose Pellissery. The upcoming film has generated a great buzz among the fans, and it has been titled Malaikottai Valiban. Mohanlal fans and Malayalam audience are very delighted about this project.
They will produce the film on a record budget in Malayalam film history. What’s more fascinating is Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan is likely to be part of this movie and we expect an official announcement regarding the same in the next few days.
This will be one of the biggest multistarrers as Mohan lal is the prominent hero of the Malayalam industry and Kamal Haasan is leading hero from Tamil industry and both the Heroes have the pan India recognition. The film will be made into all Indian languages.
Lijo Jose Pellissery, who is known for many of his directorial films, including Jallikatu, which was selected as India’s official entry to the Academy Awards in 2021, is looking forward to making it big with this film.
Mohanlal took to Twitter and announced the title of the film along with the poster recently. The film is titled Malaikottai Valiban.
PS Rafeeque, who collaborated with Lijo in Amen (2013), is scripting the film. On the technical front, the director has got his regular team—cinematographer Madhu Neeekandan (Churuli), music director Prashanth Pillai (Amen, Ee.Ma.Yau), and editor Deepu Joseph (Jallikattu, Churuli). Lijo’s associate Tinu Pappachan is part of this film as well.
