Allu Arjun’s Pushpa was released in Russia on December 8th and ended as a complete washout. The film despite big promotions brought makers nothing and attracted criticism for the decision to release the film there.

Allu Arjun and the entire Pushpa crew traveled to the country to promote the film. Rashmika Mandanna accompanied them as well. The producers have spent 3 crores for the Promotions and dubbing and hardly anything has been recovered for the producers and the total amount is a loss for them.

Mythri Movie Makers, in fact, did not have any plans to release the film in Russia. But Allu Arjun forced the makers to release the film in Russia. He believed that if Pushpa succeeds in Russia, the sequel will have huge business and craze later on.

This decision has backfired massively and cost the makers 3Cr loss and also dented the Pushpa brand. Allu Arjun’s Pushpa has been taken off the theatres in the very first week due to low occupancy and almost no interest from Russian audience.
