Varun Tej’s Ghani continued its dismal performance its second day as well. The sports drama failed to attract the audience to the theatres and is heading towards being a disaster. The film released amidst no buzz and dull promotions and saw little audience interest right from day one.
The film has opened with very low numbers at the box office. The film just opened with a 2Cr share worldwide and is likely to end up with a single-digit share at the box office. Overall the Ghani is the biggest disaster of Varun Tej’s career and a huge loss venture for all the parties involved
The makers had high hope for this project and left no stone unturned to give the movie a rich look. However, the chances of revival on Sunday and next week look extremely slim. With pan-India biggie KGF 2 along with Vijay’s Beast releasing next week, Ghani is on its way to a washout.
Varun Tej’s Ghani stars Saiee Manjrekar as the female lead, Kannada star Upendra and Bollywood star Sunil Shetty in important roles. Naveen Chandra, Jagapathi Babu, Nadiya will also be seen in the film. Debutant Kiran Korrapati is directing the sports drama while Thaman is composing the music.
