Ajay Devgn’s crime thriller, Drishyam 2, has emerged as one of the biggest blockbusters of the Bollywood. For nearly three weeks, the film sees a roaring success at the box office.
The film is super strong at the box office even on the 4th weekend and gathered around 14 Crores net in India. Overall, in India, the film has collected close to 210 Crores net, and the gross is approx 248 Crores.
If we look at overseas, the film has collected 50 Crores gross and the film is all set to cross 300 Crores mark Worldwide by today mostly.
Drishyam 2 has become the sensational blockbuster for Ajay Devgan and as well as Bollywood.
Abhishek Pathak directorial had a phenomenal run at the box office since its opening day. Within a week, the film earned Rs 100 crore and entered the 200 crore club in India for just 23 days.
Interestingly, Drishyam 2 was released at a time when there was a firm belief that negative Bollywood remakes of South Indian films will not get success.
Many trade analysts speculated that Drishyam 2 might not see profit at the box office, but Ajay Devgn starrer proved all the theories wrong. In fact, the crime thriller is only the third film of 2022 from Bollywood to make over 150% returns, after films like The Kashmir Files and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.
