Tollywood Box Office has seen a disastrous weekend this week with all the films which were released Friday became duds.
Gurthunda Seethakalam, Mukhachitram , Panchatantram and Chudalani Vundi films were released for last weekend but none of them worked nothing at the box office. Every film failed to bring the crowd into theaters and sudden Heavy rains over the weekend also have affected these movies.
Actor Satyadev who has a good image as an actor, came to the audience with a love story titled Gurthunda Seethakalam. The film has Tamanna Bhatia, and it is a remake of Kannada hit film” Love Mocktail”.
The film failed to create any kind of craze before the release, and after release it didn’t even get noticed.
Mukhachitram had the young and vibrant performer Vishwak Sen in an extended guest role. The film had a good plot and twists, but the director failed to narrate the film in an interesting way. Priya Vadlamanis performance was appreciated, though.
Panchatantram film, which has legendary actor Brahmanandam in pivotal role, had received a good response from its premiers, but the film failed to capitalize the talk into the box office. Other films like Cheppalani Undi were not even noticed by the audience.
Hit 2 also has a very ordinary 2nd weekend at the box office, The film has performed only in multiplexes on the 2nd weekend and in single screens the numbers are very low.
It is natural that Plex audience likes a thriller film rather than the mass audience in single screens. However, Hit 2 is already a hit at the box office, and it also crossed 1 million US dollars mark.
