Avatar 2 has exceeded several expectations and will now become the highest-grossing Hollywood film in India by next week. Directed by James Cameron, this visual extravaganza opened to mixed verdicts and many said that while the film is excellent in terms of visuals, the plot lacks the gripping feel that its predecessors gave.
The film has now crossed 300Cr nett mark with yesterday’s collections. Today and tomorrow collections are expected to be huge for Avatar 2. The film has already crossed the $1 billion mark at the global box office and picked up a great pace since the Christmas weekend. The film is also on its way to Rs 100 crores collections from the Telugu states.
Avatar 2 stars Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Stephen Lang, Michelle Rodriguez, and Sigourney Weaver in pivotal roles. Avatar: Way of Water will feature the same cast with the addition of Kate Winslet and Michelle Yeoh. The film is having a great run in India as well and if everything goes well, Avatar 2 might sprint its way to the $2 billion mark as well pretty soon.
