Nikhil Siddharth and Anupama Parameswaran starrer 18 Pages under the direction of Palnati Surya Pratap had a theatrical release on December 23rd. Opened to positive reports from the targetted youth audience, 18 Pages had an terrific week at the ticket windows.
As per the trade reports, the film collected massive Rs 20 crore gross at worldwide box office. Though the film had slow start, now utilizing the new Year weekend, 18 Pages maintained the same momentum. The film is still running in 1000+ screens and it will continue the sensation till upcoming Sankranthi releases.
Despite minimal publicity and very little awareness, 18 pages has been growing at the box office thanks to strong word of mouth. The film’s treatment of the beautiful love story is unique in Nikhil’s usual style, and it touched everyone’s heart in theatres.
