Before the blockbuster success of Pushpa: The Rise, Allu Arjun had already signed a film with Venu Sriram called ICON. The film was accepted by Allu Arjun and Dil Raju was supposed to be the producer of the ICON movie.
But after Pushpa’s success and due to his commitment to Part 2, Allu Arjun backed out of ICON and has now rejected the script and canceled the project. Allu Arjun only wants to work with directors who have a strong market and a specific brand value.
After this, Venu Sriram and Dil Raju are in plan to narrate the script of ICON to Ram Charan. Ram Charan had also signed a project before RRR that he canceled due to the same above-mentioned reasons. Ram Charan is currently looking to hear scripts from directors and this is the perfect opportunity for Venu and Dil Raju to pitch the script to him.
The real question is whether Ram Charan will accept a script that Allu Arjun has rejected. The two brothers share a close bond but there is some level of healthy competition for sure. There will be an official announcement regarding Ram Charan’s next project in the coming days.
