Vamsi Paidipally and Vijay’s Varisu is currently in its filming stage and will be ready for release early next year. will be a bilingual that will be simultaneously made in Tamil and Telugu. This will be a pan- India project and the first time Vijay will be filming in Telugu.
Interestingly, Rashmika Mandanna has been signed as the female lead for the project. SS Thaman will compose the music for this project bankrolled by Dil Raju. This bilingual has created quite a buzz right from the moment it was announced and is receiving great offers.
The Satellite rights have been picked up by Sun TV while Amazon Prime Video has bagged the Digital rights. T-Series has acquired audio rights for Varisu. These deals have fetched Varisu markers a whopping Rs 115 crores. The theatricals for the film are expected to be in the zone of Rs 150 crores.
After the massive failure of Beast, Vijay is hungry to bounce back in style and Varisu appears to be just the project to mark a strong comeback. Dil Raju in his recent interviews showered terrific praise on Vamsi Paidipally and his script. The ace producer added that even Vijay loved the script and okayed it immediately.
