It is very well known that Telugu Hero Bellamkonda Srinivas recently made his Bollywood Debut. Based on the success of his films dubbed in Hindi on YouTube, Srinivas Bellamkonda entered Bollywood with the remake of Telugu Blockbuster Chatrapathi in Telugu. The Hindi remake is also titled Chatrapathi and is led by Telugu Director VV Vinayak.
Chatrapathi opened to a disastrous response, to say the least at the north box office. The film has collected RS 45 Lakhs Net on its first day and the share was zero. On the second day the film saw a further drop and received just 21 lakhs. This is a proof that the Bollywood audience has completely rejected the movie. With this result, Chatrapathi has taught a big lesson to the Bellamkonda Srinivas who was in a delusion that he has good market in Hindi.
Bellamkonda Srinivas has definitely made a big mistake by leaving Tollywood and directly doing a Hindi cinema. If he had thought he had a good market in Hindi, he should have done a pan India film. But in the interviews he said that he is going to Bollywood and planning to settle there. Now Chatrapati has become a big disaster and everyone is thinking what would be his step? Will he give a comeback to Tollywood or will he still stay in Hindi Cinema?
Chatrapathi Hindi Stars Srinivas Bellamkonda, Nushrratt Bharuccha in the lead roles along with Bhagya Sree, Sharad Kelkar, Karan Singh Chhabra, Freddy Daruwala, Rajendra Gupta, and Rajesh Sharma in other important roles. VV Vinayak directed this film and Dhaval Jayanthilal Gada, Akshay Jayanthilal Gada are the producers. Tanishk Bagchi scored the music of this movie while Nizar Shafi took care of Cinematography, Niranjan Devaramane handled the editing.
