Such an unusual situation has emerged for director Gopichand Malineni as a big disappointment has hurt him now.
After a blockbuster like Krack with Mass Maharaj Raviteja, Gopichand Malineni has increased his brand and got a chance to direct Veera Simha Reddy and he received appreciation for presenting Balakrishna in his best looks and after that, it was reported that he got a massive opportunity to direct Tamil NO1 Hero Thalapathy Vijay. However, he has faced a big disappointment with this project.
It was said that he narrated the script to Vijay and Star Hero liked the script as well. Gopichand thought that the movie will go on to the sets immediately, but Vijay has changed his mind due to multiple reasons, and he said no to him. Now Gopichand Malineni has no option in Telugu as all the big Heroes are already busy. It is being reported that he is plans to meet Balakrishna for a new movie.
Gopichand Malineni’s last film with Balakrishna, Veera Simha Reddy was released for Sankranthi 2023 opened up with extraordinary numbers on Day 1. The film has performed good in Telugu States, but the film which started to post Excellent numbers from overseas region on Day 1 couldn’t continue the momentum. Theatrical rights of this film were valued at 73 Cr’s and the film had collected a share of 74.1 Cr’s worldwide in its full run.
